Today is the funeral of my great grandfather, even though I said I didn't want to go my nana came to the school and begged me to go and promised me they wouldn't do anything. I was a bit hesitant to go but I did want to go to the funeral, it was going to be a hard day since he meant the world to me.

I woke up to see everyone was gone and not in the room, they promised me they wouldn't leave me alone without saying goodbye. I got dressed and headed down to the great hall hoping they were in here, they weren't there at all which made me really upset. We soon finished breakfast and headed to the train station, we would meet our family there before we go to the funeral. We arrived at the station and saw our parents and grandparents waiting for us. I was already dreading seeing my parents after last week, so who knows what they are going to say to me as I get of the train. I see our entire family waiting for us to arrive, we got off the train as they hugged eachother. I stood there like an outsider so I didn't have to pretend like we existed to eachother, ok let's get going the funeral starts at 12pm so let's not be late nana said.
