Sirus pov.

It's been a few months since I last saw my family aswell as remus, it's been busy with the recent death eater attacks. Remus, Peter, Mary, james and lily have joined the order of the phoenix to protect everyone from them. I haven't joined after hearing my parents were death eaters made it hard, I haven't told them why I haven't joined the order yet. There's a part of me that is worried about my entire family becoming one, I'm also worried incase I have to become one like them.

7am.

I woke up to find the house completely empty as james and lily weren't here. I was used to them not being here when I need someone to talk to, I made some breakfast as I saw a note from james and lily.

Sirus.

Sorry you didn't get to see us this morning as we are busy with the order. We won't be back until Sunday so the fridge is all stocked until we are back, so we'll see you then so have a nice few days off.

I wasn't suprised as they would be gone for weeks at a time, the one I'm really worried about is my grandparents. Lyra let me know they haven't come home in two months as they have been stuck at my parents, this had me worried since I haven't heard from reg and my cousins in a month aswell. We both know our parents are the reason we haven't heard from them in over a month, I needed to get a hold of them without our parents finding out I talked to them. I haven't seen any of my family since I left hogwarts and chose to stay in james house.

I wasn't too worried my parents know where I live, but what I'm more worried about is my grandparents and cousins as they are more important to me. So when I got told no one has heard from them in a month I got worried, I haven't told anyone about my worries about them. I carried on eating my breakfast trying not to worry about them, as I hoped I would hear from them soon. I needed to know they were safe and they haven't been hurt yet, I know something bad has happened and I'm not sure yet.

11.30am.

I started cleaning the house as it kinda looked like a mess as I wanted to go out into hogsmade for a bit. I needed to clear my head from everything that's happened to my family, I hear the fireplace go off and head downstairs to see mad eye and mcgonagall. What's going on is everything ok with everyone I asked, yes don't worry they are fine we came to give you some bad news about your family mad eye said. What happened has something bad happened to them I asked, they gave eachother worried looks not sure what to say to me.

Sirus your family are planning to take the dark mark today mcgonagall said, no that can't be true they promised me they would never take that I said. It's true unfortunately we got the news about this earlier today mad eye said, no they wouldn't do this without a choice and I know that I said. This would mean you can't stay in contact with your family until then mcgonagall said, I'm not even in the order so you can't tell me what to do I said. Yes and you live with james and lily who also agreed its best you don't contact them anymore mad eye said.

Are you kidding me they know there more important to me than my own parents I yelled. I was getting angry at how they are making me not contact the only family who I care about, we are going to leave you need to calm down and think about your safety mcgonagall said. They soon left as I felt really angry at everyone who was deciding my life and everyone who I can talk to, i have been missing them since I left school and was told by dumbledore my parents took them out of school. I knew my parents had something to do with them joining the death eaters because they wouldn't do it.

My parents have always wanted to do it their way and not let people chose their life. Its why I'm grateful I was disowned all those years ago because I hate the way the controlled my life, I have no regrets leaving that life behind as I chose a healthy life. I knew maybe one day my parents would chose my career and the person I would marry, they already tried that in the past. The last time I saw them they tried to marry me to someone who I didn't love at the time, when we heard who it was we couldn't stop laughing aswell as the girl they wanted me to marry as she had a girlfriend.
