Shiv drove his bike carefully as Adrija was sitting behind him. Awkwardness was still there as they didn't exchange a single word to each other.
Shiv stopped his bike in Adrija's House lane as he didn't know the exact address of her house.
Adrija stood there awkwardly as she said while clearing her throat, "Clothes are dirty and i don't know what to do now?"
Shiv looked at her and he could understand that she was in dilemma due to the clothes. These sets of clothes belonged to his mother and it ruined now. They didn't eat breakfast as she requested him to dropped her at her house and he fulfilled the request.
"No need to return the clothes" , Shiv said politely and Adrija lifted her head to look at him.
"And your Jacket?" , Adrija asked him and suddenly Shiv pulled her towards him.
Her body suddenly collided with his hard masculine chest and his arms wrapped around her waist protectively.
At this moment, A bike crossed the street where Adrija was standing just a second ago. Adrija went blank for a few seconds.
Shiv's eyes hardened as he saw that the biker was riding the bike very rashly and that bike was about to bump into Adrija's body.
"How careless are you?" , Shiv barked at her and Adrija blinked her eyes and tried to process his words.
Seeing his red angry eyes and flaring pointed nose, Adrija pushed him away from her personal space and glared at him, "I was not at fault at all. That bike was at fault and instead of doing something on this. You are lecturing me".
Adrija spoke annoyingly. Shiv took out his phone and dialled a number and spoke in low angry tone, "Check out the CCTV footage of road no. XX. Time : 9:15, A black colour bike, a man wearing a denim jacket. No helmet".
Shiv replied while taking few seconds and it seemed like other person was asking questions to him.
Shiv disconnected the call but his eyes were on her. Adrija rolled her eyes and spoke , "It wasn't needed. It happens everywhere. We can't teach everyone"
Shiv furrowed deeply and spoke in cold tone, "I'm doing my duty"
Without saying anything, Adrija turned and walked away from Shiv. Shiv's small but deep charcoal eyes stared at her disappearing figure.
The yellow skirt flew with a gust of wind. An unknown seed of Possessiveness was erupted in his heart when Adrija was in danger.
Shiv cleared his throat and saw her going in the narrow lane. He didn't know where she lived and why she was living alone in Delhi. Adrija didn't tell the address of her house. When Shiv met Adrija at the outside of the club, He dropped her at the same place where he was standing right now.
Shiv ran his long calamine fingers in his hair and sighed deeply.
As he hopped in on his bike and drove away.
On the other side, Adrija slightly whimpered as she walked towards her house. Suddenly, she stopped and turned around only see that Shiv was not there. He left.
Adrija turned back and moved again. She stood outside of the house as the loud voices were coming from the house.
The house owner walked out of the house and looked venomously at her. Adrija didn't like the way landlady was looking at her. Adrija's rented room was in the second floor and house owner lived in the ground floor.
Adrija took stairs as her each steps were slow due to her periodic cramps.
Standby at the doorstep, Adrija found her friend was there and bickering with someone.
And the voice of that other person was very familiar that constricted Adrija's heart.
Adrija's friend turned around and looked at Adrija.
"Adoo! Tell him to go away from here. Otherwise I'll chop him today" , Adrija's friend spoke to Adrija whose eyes had coldness in it.
There was a man who was waiting for Adrija but got entangled with Adrija's friend.
And that man was none other than Adrija's ex-boyfriend who got engaged yesterday.
"What are you doing here?" , Adrija asked him.
But his eyes were glued to the jacket that Adrija was wearing.
"Where were you last night? You left with Officer Rathore and What did you do last night?" , Adrija's boyfriend questioned her as his eyes had the answer that Adrija was not interested to say him.
'Who was he? And why should she answer him?' , Adrija thought while staring coldly at him.
"Who are you to ask me these questions? You are nothing to me so leave. Your face gives me nausea" , Adrija spoke straightly
"Why did you create a fuss in my engagement party?" , Her ex-boyfriend asked Adrija who snorted loudly as she crossed her arms.
"Are you this much free?" , Adrija taunted him
"Adrija!" , Her ex-boyfriend shouted her name
"What? You came here to ask me this question?" , Adrija glared at him hatefully.
"Do you think that you are important for me to waste my precious time on a person like you? No , you are wrong. I was there to show you that how much you and your fiancee matched up each other. A match made in heaven" , Adrija said and unlocked the door of her house.
Adrija entered into the house and her friend follows. Her ex-boyfriend was about to enter but Adrija's next word stopped him, "Don't you dare to enter in my house. It's a holy place for me. I don't want you to make it dirty"
Adrija turned around and threw daggers at him but his double standard mind blurred out something that flare up her anger on seven level
"You slept with him right? You slept with officer Rathore" , Adrija's ex-boyfriend spurted out and Adrija's friend gasped loudly.
Adrija clenched her fist angrily firstly she was not well. Her Periodic cramps were making her vulnerable and now, here this egoistic man was making her life hell.
Adrija took Furious steps towards to slap him but a strong wave of pain shot in her lower abdomen as she whimpered and her leg got entangled with her skirt.
Adrija's body unbalanced as her body fell directly into the arms of her ex-boyfriend.
Arms of her ex-boyfriend carefully wrapped around her shoulder. Adrija felt dirty and before she could do anything or took a step back, away from her ex-boyfriend.
Adrija felt that a sudden force on her arm and she lost control over her body as she staggered and a strong slap landed on her cheeks.
