Staring blankly at her friend, Adrija sighed weakly as she shook her head negatively and spoke, "Leave ! I want to stay alone"
Anisha pursed her lips angrily and said, "It's wrong Adrija. You always forbid me from talking about past. I always stood up for you but you always stopped me from supporting you. What i said was not wrong. Both Kanan and he -"
Anisha was talking but Adrija simply turned around and left them alone as locked herself in the bedroom. Her house was 1bhk flat.
Adrija calmly walked towards the washroom as she changed her clothes and laid down on the bed and hide herself under the duvet.
She closed her eyes as a lone painful tear fell down from her eyes and lost in the painful memories.
On the other hand, Anisha was huffing and puffing while belittling the cheap couple.
Anisha forgot about Shiv and Rane as they were staring at Anisha.
After staring at her for a few minutes, Shiv finally opened his mouth and asked her, "What do you mean by Losing the voice?"
Shiv was confused. For him, Adrija was fine and her voice was fine as well. He didn't find anything strange about her voice.
Anisha looked at them and thought something and asked, "Are You really Addoo's boyfriend?"
"What do you think?" , Shiv threw another question at her.
"I don't think so because Adrija lost interest in relationship and love. And you are too handsome, completely out of her league" , Anisha spoke innocently and Both Shiv and Rane coughed softly.
Anisha was lost in thinking.
"Explain your previous words" , Shiv asked Anisha who again thought for a minute while staring at Shiv and said, "You are her family right?"
Shiv nodded his head positively.
"Then don't talk to Addoo on this matter. It will only hurt her" , Anisha spoke softly and felt sad as remember the past.
"What happened to her?" , Rane looked at Anisha as he asked her.
Anisha frowned deeply while looking at Officer Rane. Shiv cleared his throat and said, "You can talk. He is my Ally"
Anisha glanced at Officer Rane and then at Shiv who was patiently waiting for her answer.
"Officer Rathore ! Adrija , She lost her voice" , Anisha spoke sadly.
"Means?" , Shiv didn't understand Anisha's word as he questioned her again.
"Addoo ! Lost her singing voice. She can't sing anymore and because of this reason , she lost the chance to win the singing competition and also her dream to bag the trophy of BHARAT IDOL to enter into the bollywood" , Anisha's voice was low as she was sad too.
"How did this happen? How did she lose her voice?" , Officer Rane asked Anisha.
Shiv was still processing Anisha's words. He remembered that two and half years ago when he bumped into her at the Rajasthan railway station, Her brother talked about the competition and also the achievement of her winning Rajasthan Idol competition. Then how did she lost her singing voice?. This was not making sense to him because for him, Adrija had voice and sharp tongue to talk about.
Anisha shook her head and she took a seat to sit comfortably.
"Addoo, Kanan and I , we all met in Delhi at the audition centre as we all came to participate in BHARAT IDOL singing competition. Both Kanan and I were aware of Adrija's achievements as she was a celebrity that time. Winning Rajasthan Idol with highest votes and also getting numerous compliment from the judges were all in her list. There was the highest chance of her to win the competition but nothing happened like Adrija had thought" , Anisha said and again stopped as she couldn't continue speaking.
"We became friends instantly. Kanan and I are from Delhi but Adrija came from Rajasthan to participate in the competition and there, Kanan and I met that loser too who was attracted to Adrija. Adrija was not serious about him because all her focus was on winning the competition. We passed the audition. We cleared four rounds of stages and by passing days, competition was getting tougher and tougher and Due to this, We all Became close. I never liked that loser but Kanan fell hardly for him. He comes from a wealthy family and the foundation of his family is also very strong. You know this. Kanan got to knew about this and her likeness for him turned into an obsession when she knew that Adrija accepted his proposal and they were in a relationship. Kanan started behaving strangely to Adrija and me as she started arguing with us over every small matter. She started belittling Adrija's and her choices on each and everything. In the fifth round of competition, that loser fell out of the competition and i don't know what happened and how? But Kanan stopped talking to us. We thought , it was because of the competition and didn't pay attention to this matter. In the sixth round , it was my turn to walked out of the competition. I cried because I wanted to stay with Adrija. And just before a week of the final round, news flashed on the TV about the inside story of the BHARAT IDOL singing competition that a female participant fell sick badly as she was admitted to the hospital. I saw the name of the participant and my breathings stopped for few seconds. That female participant was none other than ADRIJA SINGH ,the winner of RAJASTHAN IDOL. When I met Adrija, she was unable to talk. Doctors were examined her and after numerous tests and examinations results was out and we got to know that ADRIJA lost her singing voice. At that time, her voice was scratchy as doctor told her to not to talk. It took three months to get her voice normal but she had already lost the competition" .. ,, Anisha finished speaking as she was lost in the memory of the past.
"Everything broke Adrija's heart. Adrija was and still very strong. If something like this happened to me then only God knows what I would do to overcome the loss" , Anisha spoke Unknowingly as she was in pain.
After a few minutes of silence and observing the piece of information, Shiv looked at Anisha.
"Just tell me one thing" , Shiv said politely Anisha looked at him and Nodded her head.
"Who won the competition?" , Shiv's question froze her for a few second.
Anisha sighed deeply as she looked straightly at him and answered him, "KANAN. SHE WON THE COMPETITION. SHE WON THE TITLE OF BHARAT IDOL"
