Fire Fist Of Company 8

First Mission

Company eight was driving down the road as they were passing many cars to get to their destination. "We're almost to the scene!" Hinawa told the crew as everyone was quiet. "The fire broke out in a small factory that makes metal fixtures. The recently ignited infernal is the foreman's wife. We received a report that a one of the workers hasn't made it out" Obi told the crew.

"This should be a piece of cake" Ace said as he put his arms behind his head. "Get your head in the game Ace!" Obi shouted as Ace looked at him confuse. "This isn't time to be playing games! We're in a serious situation and that's not how you're suppose to act in one!"

Ace sat up as he mumble an apology before they got to their location. They stepped outside and Obi said "Looks like the firefighters have started putting out the flames. The steam's gonna lower visibility." They went and introduce themselves to the firefighters. "That infernal in there, she's pretty aggressive. We're doing what we can to keep the fire from spreading, but we can't put out the infernal."

A man who seem to be injure walked up to them, telling them "M-My wife. Please put her to rest, give her peace." Iris gave him a bow as a way in telling him that they understood. "You heard the man, let's get in there!" Ace said as he started heading to the entrance. "Ace!" everyone shouted as he rushed inside the building that was in flames.

When he enter inside the building he realize everything was on fire. He walked until he stepped on something and looked down. His foot had stepped on a burnt body as he said "Guess this is that worker who didn't get out." He then felt something hit his head as Obi shouted at him "Don't take off without your crew, that's irresponsible! We all have to stick together!"

"In this world of fire and smoke, the blue reflective tape we wear is a bond that ties us together. Never cut that bond!" Obi told him as Ace was getting flashbacks of his old world. 'This is just like Pop's crew' Ace said in his head. Ace nodded his head as Obi said "The infernal should be ahead. Maki, you're up."

"Stand back everyone" Maki said as she stepped out to the front. She put her arms out front as she then push the flames to the sides. "Keep moving!" Obi said as the crew ran through the path Maki had created for them. "I didn't realize second gens could do that" Shinra said. "You won't find a lot of second gens who are on Maki's level" Obi told him. 

The flames started moving in one direction as the crew stopped. "The flames are being sucked away" Ace said as he turn around. Standing behind Shinra was the infernal as Ace then shouted "Shinra!" Shinra was met with an attack from the infernal that send him flying to the wall. When he fell to the ground, he went unconscious as the crew went to check on him. 

Ace looked at the infernal and said "You'll pay for hurting my friend!" His fist started getting ignited in flames as he ran towards the infernal. "Ace, Iris needs to say a prayer first!" Obi shouted as Ace was already heading towards the infernal. "Fire First!" he shouted as he tried punching it, but it ran away it.  Ace landed on his feet as he said "She's pretty fast!" 

"Looks like you're going to need help" somebody said as Shinra was standing next to him. He got into position as he told Ace "Try giving me a straight shot so I can hit its core!" Ace nodded as he dashed towards the infernal. "Fire pistols!" he shouted as he started shooting fire pistols from his fingers towards the infernal.  The infernal was blocking its attacks as Shinra was already on his way to get to its core.

He jumped into the air as he began the procedure of taking out an infernal. "The black smoke is the soul's release. Ashes as ashes. May thy soul burn!" he shouted as he kick through its core. Ace smile and shouted "Hell yeah!" Shinra landed on the floor as he said "Return to the great flame of fire."

The infernal turn into ashes as somebody gave Shinra his helmet back. "You forgot that" Hinawa told him as he gave him back his helmet. "Yo, Ace, Shinra! Pretty awesome for your first run!" Obi told them. They left the flaming building as firefighters were putting out the flames. The man walked up to Iris and said "Sister, my... My wife... How is she?" 

"Your wife has returned safely to the great flame of fire. Fire soldiers Ace and Shinra put her to rest. She didn't suffer" Iris said as Ace and Shinra were shock she was giving them the credit. The man looked at the two boys as then grabbed each of their hands. "Thank you, fire soliders Shinra and Ace. Thank you" he told them while crying. People around them started congratulating them as Ace and Shinra looked around them to see the crowd clapping for them.

Ace was in disbelief that these people were actually cheering for him instead of wanting him to get away. "You're gonna get a lot of this applauses from now on" Obi told the two boys. "You just took your first step on achieving your goals."

"Let's go, they're trying to put out the fire here" Obi said as the crew was leaving all except Ace and Shinra. Hinawa realize they were both smiling as he said "I wonder what that smile means."

"Hm? It means they're happy" Obi told them as the two boys were smiling at the crowd.
