When he opened his eyes again, the first thing the young man saw were the stars above him, radiating their beauty in the silence, he knew they were far away from him but reached his hand up to grab at them nonetheless. Seeing how dumb it was he sat up and laughed to himself again before the reality of him being able to move again hit him like a truck...no pun intended.

He tried to take in his new surroundings, a sea of stars above him which seemed like a floating screen above his head and around him a desolate terrain; black, jagged and devoid of life, while the sky above him shone in brilliance the ground below him exuded an aura of emptiness and death making him wonder if he had gone to purgatory.

"So this is my afterlife huh? Figured I'd more or less end up alone again, just my luck."

He stared into the infinite beyond not because of it's beauty but because he didn't know what else to do, he couldn't make sense of what was happening to him much less where he was right now. As he sat there looking up the thoughts came flooding in, he can never go back, he'd never see his loved ones again, he had lost everything that he had worked for and the shame of it was unbearable, he wantwd to cry, he wanted to forget everything and lose himself in the stars focusing on the beauty in front of him right now to try and give himself some form of comfort and hope.

Just then he felt something touch him on his shoulder and as if by instinct he bolted forward and rolled on the ground. Turning to look behind him there was only one word that came to mind, it shook him so much that even though it was only a thought, he spoke it out loud.

"Beautiful."

It was a girl.

Snow white hair, rich brown skin adorned with glowing blue tattoos that ran all along her arms, legs and face. Her dress was thin and free flowing stola, wrapping around her tightly showing off her voluptuous figure underneath and she was tall, at least six feet, two inches compared to the man's five feet, eleven inches, but her most alluring feature above all these were her eyes, bright red and briming with power almost as if on fire as a red energy flowed from them and she seemed to be surrounded by a faint white glow as if she was a star herself.

She stared at the young man in front of her in confusion, wondering how this soul strayed from the Assiah and found it's way to this dimension, which should be impossible for human souls without interruption from a greater force.

When she originally sensed his presence she thought it may have been another god like her that invaded her domain due to a huge flux of energy that she felt when her domain was breached but upon further inspection, she saw that he was just a normal human soul so she decided to aproach him, tapping his shoulder to get his attention but something happened when she touched him, a small spark of electricity, barely visible but nonetheless felt.

Visions started playing in her mind, memories she hadn't revisited in millennia, of a happier time when her world was more peaceful and when her family wasnt divided, tears started welling up as she looked at the equally confused young man in front of her, her  red eyes softening as the flames in them died out.

"Papa?"

Before he could even utter a response the beauty had already pulled him into an embrace and started crying hysterically.

"Papa, oh papa where have you been? Have you finally found us again? Thank Assiah!"

He could do nothing but stand there as she hugged him, his face buried in her chest. He had no idea what she was talking about but felt the urge to comfort her so he returned the hug, not that he could pull away even if he wanted to, she was way stronger than him, he felt that when she grabbed him, besides she seems to really need this hug.

A few moments pass and she finally loosens her grip and lets him go, she stared down at the young man looking up at her in bewilderment, she looked down at him and smiled and opened her mouth to speak but before she could utter a word her eyes flashed into flames again and with a wave of her hand she opened a rift in space and pushed the young man in.

"I'm sorry papa" she whispered inaudibly flashing a smile.

And with that she closed the rift with another wave of her hand.

She stared at the space where the rift once was for a few seconds before a finally speaking.

"Why are you here Yorfan? This is not your domain."

A man walked out of the shadows, clad in a long hooded cloak that covered his face and flowed down to his feet even though he was covered head to toe, you could see that he was well built. He took a knee and took off his hood that revealed the face of a man in his mid to late forties, bright blue hair with streaks of white that showed signs of aging with eyes that shone like silver, still radiating an auta of authority though leagues below the goddess infront of him hence the reverence he shows.

"Greetings to the goddess of stillness, I apologize for encroaching upon your territory but I was under orders of my master to investigate a surge of Prya that was detected, I meant no disrespect your gra-."

With a flash of red the man now found himself in flying backwards and his back hitting the hard surface of the wall behind him, a soft hand gripping his face with pulsating red eyes seething in rage, he couldn't help but be mesmerized by her beauty but he was also very afraid, in all his years of being a paladin he had risen to a state of power that could only be challenged by some of the strongest beings in the universe one of them being the woman that now held him by the face, peering into his soul with her blazing red eyes full of murderous intent.

"Madam Bealfire, I-" he stopped talking as he felt her grip on his jaw tighten preventing him from even moving his mouth.

"Who said you could use my family name?"

The goddess asked, her voice devoid of emotion but gave a hint of rage boiling beneath.

"First you trespass on my domain, then you dare to use my family name as if we are kin, clearly my brother has been too lenient with his paladins for them to think they could refer to a god by their family name, already two offences that warrant death and you don't even seem scared."

She pulled him closer, maintaining her grip on his jaw, if not squeezing with more force.

"Let's change that Albus."

That day screams could be heard across the domain of stillness causing the restless souls that reside there to go mum and offer prayers to the poor soul that angered their queen.
