But Donald didn't use strings. He used strong wires to control his puppets.
The piano wires were tougher to cut and painfully dug into his puppets' skin when they rebelled.
Donald's puppets wanted to leave, but he wouldn't let them. They were his to control. They had to obey him and follow ever single command.
His puppets wanted to be free, but Donald tightened the wires around their neck. The suffocating pressure coupled with their intense fear caused them to back down and return to their submissive states.
