Cyan pointed at the map again. "See, it's more strategic to go here before crossing the ocean!"Blue pouted. "But the meme! Come on Ry-"
The Skeld rocked suddenly and several people let out a yelp. Orange shot up in his seat and ran out towards Navigation. Cyan looked at Blue and they both followed, Blue grumbling something about Navigation being her room and specialty.
As they rounded the corner, they were met with the sight of a Dropship having docked on the side of the Skeld. Cyan tipped her head in confusion.
"We were supposed to have someone...?"
"We're literally dead," Orange replied, mystified. he scratched at his chin, scrunching his brow. "I don't see how we could be having visitors..."
"Well, these visitors are special," a voice said from behind the trio. They all jumped and whirled around, setting eyes on the teen. Northwind had a twinkle in his eyes and let out a small laugh. "Let's just say that some of you have met them before."
"Who are they?" Orange demanded.
"Aliens?" Blue asked hopefully. Orange and Blue looked at each other and Cyan had to try to not laugh.
"No, we don't want aliens this soon in," Orange said sternly. "No, absolutely not."
"He has a twinkle in his eye!" Blue yelped, excited. "Come on, you know that means that something great is going to happen-"
"By your standards, not mine!" Orange yelled. "No, Blue, stand down! Cease!"
"How are you going to make me?" Blue asked. She then darted out of Navigation and turned left, towards Shields and Comms.
"Dang it!" Orange cursed. He looked at Northwind. "Geez, who are these people?"
"Well, we were assigned to your crew at the beginning, so..." Cyan trailed off as Orange gave her a look. "Sorry, sir."
Northwind shrugged eloquently, his leather jacket crinkling. "You'll see for yourself. However, I think you might want to make your way towards Comms before the first thing that Captain Foster hears is the words of someone who tossed around a Molotov and blew up the Skeld."
"Again, who in tarnation is Captain Foster?" Orange yelled. Northwind snapped his fingers and disappeared before answering that question. "Dang it!"
"Sir, I think we might want to go to Comms like he suggested..."
Orange sighed deeply, then gestured for Cyan to follow. "I suppose you're right."
---------------------------------------------------------
Cyan and Orange made their way towards Comms and were surprised when they saw that Blue was just waiting by the Comms device, tuning the dials.
"Whoever it is wants an authorization code," Blue explain, taking off the headset. "Orange, I think they're asking for you."
Cyan looked at Orange and he shrugged. "Must be a very rule-abiding Captain, then."
Orange eased into the chair, put on the headset, and fiddled with the dials, occasionally speaking some sort of command code. Cyan only caught half of whatever conversation he was having, but it was just regular stuff like 'affirmative, Captain' or 'cleared for boarding' or 'apologies, but it would seem the transmission was delayed.'
When Orange took off the headset, he rubbed his forehead. He looked very much worried and concerned.
"I don't know how in the world this is supposed to work, but it would appear the current Polus team is going to board..."
