It had been two days since Alicent introduced Helaena to Annis. And it had been two days since the pair had left Helaenas room. When the maidens had walked into the room they found both girls asleep on the floor, Helaena's head on Annis' stomach, surrounded by drawings of animals and insects Kyannis had done back at Harrenhall.
If it was Aegon on the floor the Queen would have been enraged at the sight, but all she felt was relived when she saw the girls had bonded, as now Helaena had a friend.
During her time at Kings Landing, Annis had befriended the Velaryon brothers and danced around the room with Helaena at the news of her betrothal to the eldest Velaryon boy, Jacaerys.

Lying on the bed, placed opposite Helaenas, she hummed whilst drawing something else for her new best friend.
"Helaena mother wants to kn- You're not Helaena?" The boy says staring at the girl infront of him. "Evidently" To this he rolls his eyes.
"Who even are you?"
"Kyannis Strong"
"Strong? Your Uncle is the Hand."
"Correct!" She says getting of the bed, walking up to the boy, standing taller than him.
"Aemond" he says sticking his hand out for her to shake. "Nice to meet you Aemond" She says, making to boys cheeks go pink.
"Well, I... Er better find Helaena" he says turning on his heel before walking towards the door.
"She's in the garden, near the flowers" Annis says as he leaves the room.
"Thank you" he shouts back from down the corridor.
A smile arose on the girls face, not once did it drop. That was until she was asked by Luke if she wanted to see the dragons. With Helaena not around and nothing else to do, she jumped at the opportunity.
Standing far from the boys, her back against the wall, she watched as Luke spoke to Vermax, his excitement evident in his voice.
The entire time Aemond stood with the boys he couldn't help but feel as if someone was watching him. Pulling his eyes away from the burning of a goat he looked around, eventually looking behind him, where he found the same girl from before stood against the wall, her long, thick, dark mane of hair framing her face, and the candle light casting a golden glow across her. To him, she looked like that of a Goddess.
When her eyes met his, he flicked his head back towards the goat so fast he nearly lost balance, his cheeks felt hot again as the did before. He felt a strong gaze looking at him, turning his head to his brother slightly he was met with a look of disgust.
"Freak" Aegon said before looking back to the dragon keepers.
Annis watches as the dragon keepers leave the boys, and Luke runs away. Jace turns around, waving Annis over.
