Some of these dudes were doing these unnecessary flips and stuff, it kinda was just annoying. She was fighting Xander Stone. He was just flirting with her, like a lot.
They were 2-2, but he scored the last point, he helped her up.
"Can I get that date?"He asks her.
"Nope," Clover says bluntly, walking away.
She was proud two of the cobras got to the semi-finals and proud of Robby too.
It was Miguel vs Xander, she does hope Miguel can win this. Xander was doing all these weird spins and stuff but thankfully Miguel won, getting him into the finals. Hawk vs Robby next. Hawk jumps on the mat, Clover was unsure of who to go for, Hawk was in her dojo and Robby was Clover's best friend. Hawk got 1 point, then Robby got a point. The Hawk got angry and kicked Robby while his back was turned. Hawk was disqualified, Robby also made it to the finals.
He was taken out into the change rooms, she snuck off away from the Cobra's and went to see him. He looked in a lot of pain.
"Robby" She says, sort of unsure.
"Clover" He says, as unsure as her.
"I didn't know, you knew karate" Clover says, he looks at me
"Yeah, I didn't know you did karate either"He says,
"Why Cobra Kai"He asks
"It's uh complicated" She sighs, Clover see's Mr. LaRusso there.
"I'll explain soon, um excuse me" she say, walking away past Mr LaRusso, leaving them to talk
The finals start, Miguel vs Robby. A fight she'd never thought she'd see and doesn't wanna see. Best friend vs best friend. Robby is now fighting for Miyagi Do Karate. It starts she can barely look, she doesn't know who to cheer for. You'd think she'd cheer for her team but that there on the other side is her best friend. She see's Robby do the two legged kick, so that's what that was at the skate park she thought.
Miguel was going straight for his shoulder, he was fighting dirty. She hesitantly went to her team to congratulate him but felt for Robby as well.
"I'm sorry" I mouth over to Robby, he nods and walks off with Mr LaRusso.
Her family congratulated her afterwards and her brother as well. She was glad to at least make it to the quarter finals. Demetri and Moon congratulate her, she was still a little heartbroken over Moon but she couldn't help it. She was at least happy that Moon was happy. Her Parents drove her and Miles home, they chilled the entire rest of the evening, then eating some dinner then just chilling some more
She couldn't sleep that night, all her fights going on as a movie in her head, of what she could do better and what she was terrible at. Clover sighs, thinking about Robby and how he was. She felt guilty about what happened to him, all because of her team of some who were sore losers.
She even couldn't bare to text him, not wanting to annoy him at all. She stared at their recent messages. Clover was rethinking everything. Robby didn't know anything about her yet she knew a lot about him, she hadn't opened up or anything. She turned onto her side to try and sleep on that side but no luck just the same thing over again. Clover groaned, putting the pillow on her face and screaming into it.
The next morning after getting barely any sleep, Clover headed down stairs still in her pyjamas. She was ready for something to eat though, she smelt something good coming from the kitchen. Pancakes, her favourite.
"Mmm Pancakes" Clover says, as she made it into the kitchen
"Thought you'd like it, a small treat for your dojo winning the All Valley" Her mum said, putting a plate of freshly cooked pancakes in front of her. She immediately dug in, savouring the taste in her mouth.
She went back upstairs after breakfast, she felt so run down from not sleeping a wink last night. Sighing she got up to go into the bathroom and go for a shower, that might make her feel better. Clover grabbed her towel on her way in, undressing and turning on the tap, she started washing her body, wincing every so often from finding fresh bruises.
She got out of the shower, drying herself with the towel then wrapping it around her. She went into her room, grabbing some clothes from her closet, then getting dressed for going out later on for a celebration of the win.
She sat at her desk while waiting for the time to go by, looking at her bucket list on top of the rest of her stuff, Clover then thought about telling Robby. She got up, putting on her shoes, grabbing her bucket list then her skateboard before heading out the front door. Clover thought of where Robby would be at this time, she looked at the skatepark, no sign of him there. Then the ice cream parlour, still no sign of him. She sighed before remembering, he was with the LaRusso's. Maybe he's there.
She rode down the nice street at about sunset before seeing the LaRusso house up ahead. Clover stopped, almost hesitating but then continued she needed to do this. She made it to the driveway, Clover slowly walked up the driveway and into the LaRusso's front yard before reaching the front door. She breathed out before knocking on the door.
