Afterwards, there was info going around about a new place for the after-party at, stingray's house as Bert told me. Everyone made their way there afterwards, it was already really loud as both Clover and Miles got there
"I'm not going to be drinking too much tonight, learnt my lesson" Clover laughs, Miles joining in. She walked in and decided to just get a beer and stand outside where it was a bit more bearable.
Clover saw Tory and Sam talking and she knew something was about to go down. Suddenly Sam kicked Tory, Clover sighed the tournament is coming up can't they wait? Miguel and Robby joined soon after, just like the school fight, this time Clover wasn't getting involved she did that once and never again. Clover groaned and walked straight out the front door instead, she was wrong to think that this'll be a night where there is no karate.
She quietly sipped on the beer she had gotten in her cup, avoiding all the drama going on inside, Miles was inside talking to some of the Eagle Fangs. Clover enjoyed the silence that was outside, yes there was still the sound of blaring music but it wasn't as bad as it was inside plus the pouring rain drowned most of it out
Robby after he got out of the pool and dried off, he looked around for Clover, hoping to finally talk to her. Robby ends up out the front of the house.
"Clover?" Robby says once he sees the blonde. Clover curses under her breath.
"Come to gloat? Go back to Tory, Keene" Clover replied, not having drunk enough for this conversation
" I sense a little jealousy in your voice, plus she seems more interested in your brother," Robby says, Clover still doesn't meet his eye. Robby sighs, unknown of what to do with all these emotions that he needed to spill. Clover soon turned to him and met his eye.
"Why'd you look for me?" Clover asks, continuing her eye contact.
"Clover there is a lot we need to talk about" Robby replies
"Like what"
"Like those gazes, I catch while at the skatepark or when we were at the movie" Robby brings up, Clover tries her best to not blush at how he knows she has been staring at him, she's not giving him that satisfaction.
"Your one to talk," She says
"Clover you don't get it, that's because I like you. I know I should've realised earlier and has come at the worst time ever but" Robby rambles. An ongoing battle goes on in Clover's mind, contemplating what to do. Clover stands up from the step she was once sitting on and stops his rambling by kissing him. Clover said fuck it to everything, fuck it to karate rivalries, fuck it to people's opinions and fuck it to any hatred she had because the feelings she had for him flowed more than the hate she had for him ever. Robby is quick to respond, putting his hand on your cheek before the both of you pull away.
"Wow" Clover responds after pulling away, Robby laughs. They stare at each other for a little.
"Now I saw you didn't get to dance at prom," Robby says, Clover gives him a weird look
"You're a bit too dry" Robby continues as he pulls Clover into the rain. The raindrops that fell onto her skin goosebumps rose, and slowly the two started dancing together in the rain just enjoying it.
"I also remember dancing in the rain was on your bucket list," Robby says, Clover's heart swelled she couldn't believe this was happening
"You remembered" Clover smiles, she felt so happy. This may confuse most as she hated him, but maybe she never did and denied all her feelings towards him. The sound of Clover's giggles and Robby's laughs could be heard around the street but they didn't care.
"What are we now?" Clover asks the taller boy.
"Whatever you want us to be. Whatever you like my lucky charm" Robby says, smiling fondly at he
