You couldn't stop staring at the man in front of you, deeply focussed on the book in his hands. The memory of waking up beside him this morning let your heart flutter and your stomach tingle. You had always enjoyed being close to Spencer but sharing a bed with him while working on a case was something else.

It made you feel like you would never be able to be without his nearness ever again. Your skin started heating up at the memory of his fingertips tracing the outline of your body. A bright smile appeared on your face and your cheeks started feeling hot the more you thought about him.

While attempting to suppress the childish giggle emerging to the surface, you ripped a page out of your notebook. With the pen you found in your bag you started scribbling a note for Spencer. After a few moments you stared at the piece of paper, not being able to contain your snickering anymore.

The blue ink of the pen spelled out the following message for the man in front of you:

Will you go out with me?

O yes

O no

O maybe

Your foot tapped his shin, carefully trying to get his attention. When he locked eyes with you, you handed him the folded paper like you used to with the boys you fancied in middle school. With raised eyebrows he took it from your hand and read the message, a bright laugh escaping his throat. He reached for your pen and marked his answer right before handing the note back to you with a smirk.

You found an X marked right beside the word "yes", making you giggle once more.

Emily leaned closer to you to glance at the paper. She burst out laughing.

"Seriously?" She chuckled. "Even after you guys have been married for three years?"

"Always," you answered.

"Forever," Spencer agreed.
