Friends, this 2022 NaNoWriMo novel is... not like my usual. I'm warning you now, because I myself am disturbed as I think of how I'm going to write this.
As mentioned in the description, this is a sci-fi/horror novel, with vibes from:
AMERICAN HORROR STORY (gore x alien-like stuff x experiments x discomfort)
THE HANDMAID'S TALE (oppression to women x more or less forced pregnancies x futuristic metamorphosis of a country)
and with snippets of WESTWORLD-like situations & characters (futuristic x mind-games x not knowing who really is the "bad-guy")
I don't even want to begin trying to explain how this idea came to me, but know that I SUPPORT WOMEN'S RIGHTS 100000% (especially rights to proper healthcare) and this novel isn't written to insult or offend ANYONE. It's simply my creative mind going in all directions and coming up with a worst-case-scenario style future. LET'S HOPE NONE OF WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS INSANE NOVEL WILL EVER COME TRUE.
That being said, I hope you read the triggers, because there's going to be blood, lots of it. Disturbing situations, descriptions... you've been warned AGAIN.
