It is Thursday night and the champions for the tri-wizard tournament are about to be chosen from the goblet all names have been submitted and all students are present.

"Sit down please. And now the moment you've all been waiting for, the champions selection!" Dumbledore said.

Dumbledore approaches the blue flame and it glows red. A small piece of paper fly's out with a name on it and Dumbledor catches it. Everyone looks on anxiously.

"The Durmstrang champion is ... Viktor Krum!" Dumbledore said.

The Durmstrang crowd cheer. Another name comes out.

"The champion from Beauxbatons... Fleur Delacour," Dumbledore said.

The Beauxbatons girls cheer as Fleur walks up. Another name comes out.

"The Hogwarts champion... Cedric Diggory," Dumbledore said.

Hogwarts pupils cheer as Cedric takes the stage.

"Excellent! we now have our three champions! But in the end only one will go down in history. Only one will hoist this chalice of champions, this vessel of victory the tri-wizard cup!" Dumbledore said People cheer, but the goblet glows red once more and another name flies out. Dumbledore takes it and reads...

"Harry Potter. Harry Potter?"

"No... No," Hagrid said.

"Harry Potter!" Dumbledore Yelled but harry almost shrinks back into his seat.

"Go on Harry. Harry for goodness sake," Hermione said as she pushes Harry up.

Harry slowly walks up. Dumbledore gives him the paper. Voices in the crowd shout out.

"He's a cheat! He's not even seventeen yet," One said as Harry then disappeared with the other champions.

I sat there thinking that there was no way he could have done it he couldn't have crossed the age line and on top of that he doesn't want to be a champion. Later we are all sent back to our common rooms as the Champions are given what I assume is last-minute advice I sat with Hermione and I could feel the tension in the room. I went to bed that night not liking the way things were headed it seemed like Harry was soon going to become a pariah and it wasn't even his fault I hated to do this but it seemed like Hermione was going to follow the others and to be with her so was I. A few days later and we are all looking for Harry as we have a message for him and last I saw him he was with Neville so we find Neville we find Harry and they were found by a river.

Neville waves as he sees us and Harry turned around and looks at us he did not look happy and I just stood there hating myself it was not right but Hermione had my heart and that was too big a thing to leave.

"We've already been through enough people why don't you just go and do it yourself? Ughh. What do you want me to say again?" Hermione said whispering to Ron.

Ron whispers some words to Hermione as for the last few days it's clear Ron and Harry are not on speaking terms. Hermione walks up to Harry after Ron is done and I just look at him in anger.

"Ronald would like me to tell you that Seamus told him that Dean was told by Parvati that Hagrid was looking for you," Hermione said.

"Is that right? Well.... what?" Harry said.

"Uhhh..." Hermione said back turning back and walks back to Ron for more whispering and coming back.

"Dean was told by Parvati that... Please don't ask me to say it again. Hagrid's looking for you," Hermione said.

"Well, you can tell Ronald..." Harry said but Hermione cut him off.

"I'm NOT an owl!" Hermione yelled back at him.

As we were about to leave Harry looks at us I look at him and give him an apologetic look and he gives me an understanding face before I leave with the others. Later that night I see Harry leave for this meeting with Hagrid and I say that I am sorry and ask to come along and he says yes Harry, Hagrid and I are walking through a dark forest.

"Did you bring your father's cloak like I asked you? Jessica?" Hagrid asked.

"Yeah, I brought the cloak, Jessica wouldn't take no for an answer but Hagrid where are we going?" Harry said

"You'll see soon enough. Pay attention this is important," Hagrid said as we began walking.

"What's with the flower? Hagrid have you combed your hair?" Harry said looking at Hagrid looking more dapper than usual and he is carrying a big red flower.

"As a matter of fact, I have. You might like to try the same thing now and again," Hagrid said.

We hear animal noises and then for some reason Madame Maxime calls out to Hagrid.

"Hagrid?" Madame Maxime said.

"Oh, the cloak. Put the cloak on," Hagrid said and we pull the cloak over the both of us.

"Bonsoir Olympe," Hagrid said to Madame Maxime.

"Oh, Hagrid. I thought you weren't coming, I thought perhaps... you had... forgotten me," Madame Maxime said to see Hagrid and they get close.

"Couldn't forget you Olympe," Hagrid said.

"What is it you want to show me? When we spoke earlier you sounded so exhilarated," Madame Maxime said.

"You'll be glad you came. Trust me," Hagrid said and we follow them deeper into the forest.

We hear a loud roar from nearby and then we see a bunch of men wrangling with DRAGONS, this is crazy me and Harry share a look of astonishment and fear.

"Ahh, c'est magnifique! Can we get closer?" Madame Maxime said.

"Dragons? That's the first task? You're joking," Harry said as he took off the cloak.

"Come on you two. They're seriously misunderstood, creatures," Hagrid said.

A huge ball of flame fires then comes up to us and burns a bush in front of us as we all duck.

"Although, I have to admit that horntail is a right nasty piece of work. Poor Ron nearly fainted just seeing him you know," Hagrid said as we rise slowly.

"Ron was here?" Harry said.

"Oh sure. His brother Charlie helped bring him over from Romania. Didn't Ron tell you that?" Hagrid said.

"No, he didn't. He didn't tell me a thing," Harry said sounding a little angry.
