-Hey Siri, Play Home by Edith Whiskers-

"Okay class, please take your seats!" Sara asked in a singsong voice as she watched all of the children run to their seats.

It was officially her first day of teaching, and she was already in love with the job. She had been prepping for the past week, between packing and preparing for work. She was exhausted, but to see her students staring at her in awe made everything worth it.

"We are going to sing the ABC's now. If you don't know them, just try your best. We will be learning them all year!" She announced with a smile so big it hurt.

A little girls hand shot up into the air. "I don't know them." Sara smiled "it's okay Bailey, just listen for the first time and then when we do it again you can do it with us!"

She started slowly listening to all the children fumble around to get the letters in the right order. She smiled brightly as she watched the little girl who claimed to not know them, follow along perfectly. Once they were finished the kids started to giggle and clap, begging to sing again. So she agreed to let them sing it one more time, which almost every student sang perfectly. It made her heart soar.

By the time nap time came around, Sara didn't want them to sleep. She was too excited to be around them, but she carefully tucked in each student and played classical music softly. She returned to her desk and watched as the kids fell asleep on their mats, she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket.

Bucky: Hey Sweetheart, I don't wanna bother you but I hope your first day is going well. I talked to Jen about getting the kids after I get off work, we are going to celebrate.
Love you honey.

Sara smiled and hearted the message before Bailey wandered to her desk. Sara smiled "what's wrong dear? Can't sleep?" She asked smiling at her. Bailey shook her head, "l'm scared of the dark..." the little strawberry blonde whispered.

Sara smiled "well, I can let you sleep by the window. I will open it for you, how about that?" She asked standing to take her hand. Bailey smiled and grabbed her hand following her towards the window. Sara moved her mat and opened the blind to let a little light in. "There you go sweetie, your own spot." She whispered as Bailey laid down on the mat, snuggling into her blanket.

"Thank you Ms. Rogers" she whispered before Sara made her way back to her desk. She was in love with the job, she knew it was made for her.

The rest of her day consisted of cleaning up from naps, cleaning up from snacks and helping kids onto buses and into cars. She hugged each one of her students goodbye, making sure they all knew that they were loved.

"Bailey, where's your mommy?" Sara asked as she walked over to her, kneeling down beside her. Bailey looked down at the ground, not answering her. Sara held her hand out "Come on, let's go see if Mrs. Wanda is in her office." Bailey lifted herself off of the ground and held her hand as they walked to the main office, Sara smiled as she knocked on Wanda's door.
