Trevor's POV
Finally! I've been trying to make her reject me for months, but it took so long. Now, she gave in and rejected me. Now I can be with Kathy. We where supported to be together, but I guess fate got the clients wrong in the pile.
But, it hurt. She rejected me. I'm supported to be happy, right? I've been wanting this for so long. But for some reason, it doesn't feel right. Like maybe fate didn't have a sense of humor and really put me and Mya as mates.
HA! What am I thinking? Ugh must be those chili dogs I ate. NO, they're not real dogs, so calm your tits.
But, I never knew they Mya was the sister of Alpha Damon. And he's dead? How? She must be lying. I mean the last I heard from him was like, yesterday. He just can just leave the world with the snap of your fingers.
I get up from the ground since the pain subdued. That girl can fight. She might not really be lying. Ancient power radiated off of her like heat radiated off of the sun.
I walked to the back door and opened it. Everyone had witnessed my ass being whooped by Mya. They cleared a way as they looked down at me with judging eyes asking if I should really be their alpha if a she wolf beat, I mean whooped my ass.
I angrily stomped up to my room and slammed the door. I went to the dresser and clenched te edges hard in my hands. I took a deep breath. How am I supported to be an alpha if a she wolf can beat me in front of my whole pack? Now anyone thinks they can just stand up challenging for the alpha role.
I grunted and flung to dresser across the room. As it shattered into chunks, I heard a shriek come from my bathroom and then a couple things clattering to the floor. I went into my bathroom to scream at who was in my room, until I saw a 13 year old who looked tall for her age.
She bowed her head in respect and not looking up to see my eyes, scared of me. Great, at least someone's still scared to me.
" What are you doing in here?" I asked calmly. No one was allowed in my room unless it for my needs.
" I'm sorry alpha, it's just that all of the bathrooms were taken up by all of the in training pups. Bathroom training." She said looking up to see up in my eyes. In her eyes I saw confidence, strength, and power. Something I lacked in right now.
" Its fine, just yah know. Be careful not to touch anything of mine or ruin anything of mine." I said rubbing my temples.
" I don't think I'm the one who's breaking your stuff." She said chuckling. I chuckled softly, this girl had humor.
She began to walk out but stopped at the door with her hand on the doorknob, about to close the door behind her.
" Why do you reject the most wonderful thing in life?" She asked sternly. I froze. This girl had some nerve.
" It doesn't concern you." I gritted through my teeth.
" I think it does. It concerns the pack about who's gonna be the next female alpha." She barked back.
" Mates were made for someone, to fill in their other half. For making them eternally happy. Am I right?" She asked. I nodded.
" She was made for you. Don't deny it. Fate didn't just put you guys up as a mere joke. Fate doesn't joke around, ever. Don't reject her because of your 'needs'. Have you ever thought about how she's taking this? And maybe how she maybe wanted to be your mate?"
I was about to say that I'm her alpha and she needs to respect me, but she continued.
" If you keeping on rejecting her, you won't ever be fully happy, ever. Trust me. You'll always be jealous of who dates her, kisses her, marries her, who she has kids with. You always will. Stop rejecting her. You can be the one who makes her smile everyday, who makes her happy." She looks deep into my soul, searching for the tiniest compassion there.
" Just keep that in mind." She smiles and leaves.
That who speak. Is that thirteen yes old right? She's younger than me, she can't know more than me. She might have more sensibility. I laid on my bed, thinking about what she said, taking in all that she said.
How this all might be true. How I should try to win back Mya. As I thought, I got deeper and deeper into darkness.
Mya's POV
After I left Trevor's pack house, I went home. I locked my car and went inside to my house. I dropped my keys in the brown bowl on the table next to the door.
I turned the corner to the living room. I gasped. On the room was pictures. Pictures of when I was little, and when me and brother played football as little kids. How I'd sit on his shoulders. It was all in a circle in the living and my room was sitting right in the middle.
She looked as if she was in a storm and she was the eye of the storm.
" Mom?" I whimpered, on the verge of another wave of tears.
She looked up at me and smiled. She had a picture in her hand. It was a picture of my mom, dad, Damon, and me as a family when I was five. I was missing my two front teeth.
" I'm just looking at pictures for Damon's Funeral." She smiled. I laughed and cried a bit. I stepped around pictures and sat down in the eye of the storm with my mom.
" Let me help you." I smiled.
" No, I'm fine. Actually, what I need you to do is to use your beautiful crafting skills and go make a bunch of cards out to all the alphas, family, his friends, and his mate." The last part she whispered. My mom didn't get the chance of meeting her, but she knows this going tone hard on her.
" Ok." I kissed her cheek and got up exiting the storm. I got up to the dining room table and went to the closet for the craft stuff. I came back with my hands, arms, and feet full while the stuff piled high over my head.
I sat them down on the table and pushed them out so make space for my workspace. I kinda feel like I'm in Santa'a elf's workshop. I sighed and began to make a list of all the alphas (my dad made me memorize them all as a test), friends, family, and mate.
~1 hour later~
By now I have ten left and then I hear the doorbell ring.
" Mya sweetly can you get that?!" My mom shouted from the kitchen. She decided to take a break and make shrimp parmesan linguine for dinner.
" Yah!" I got up and the glue stick stick to my shirt. I pulled it off and flung it to the table. I jogged to the front door and opened it.
" Hi, and who ar-" I looks up from my glue sticked t-shirt and saw Trevor, holding a bouquet of flowers.
He smiled and removed the flowers from his face. " Mya will you please forgive my egoistic, idiotic, stupid decision of me ever rejecting you ad going on a date with me?" He asked polightly.
I was shocked.
