Mya's POV
I ran home while still in my wolf form, but I had to take the long way so the humans wouldn't see me. I ran thru the woods and ran up the back steps of the house. I nudged the door open with my nose and ran into my room, leaving paw prints behind. I looked and went to my big mirror and stared.
A warrior of Luna. I smiled. I can't believe I could be chosen for something this serious. My blinding light was still noticable. It hasn't gone away. I've heard in stories that when you get chosen for a warrior of Luna, that you'll have a blinding light for like ten minutes. It's been an hour. Maybe somethings wrong. Maybe I'm actually not a warrior of Luna. Maybe it's something I ate, because like a week ago, I was looking for something to eat and i saw this weird thing in a container and I ate it. It didn't taste good and it had this strange like glow to it.
I'm tired. I need to go change. I changing and stood there looking at myself in the mirror. I was still glowing, but not as much. I sighed, as I got more tired by the minute. It'll probably go away when I fall asleep. I closed my door and put a bra and panties on. I picked up the comforter and snuggled under it. The warmth consumed me.
I opened my eyes and saw I wasn't in my bed anymore, but I was fully clothed in what looked like battle clothes, and yet, I was still warm. I looked around to see my surroundings. I saw that I was in the woods in like a clearing. I was laying in some and a huge blinding light came before me. It came in front of me and when it died down, I saw Luna standing right in front of me. I got up and bowed. I respected her, and every wolf would want to please her.
She had a brown dress that looked like soil, but the dress was always moving around her body, and in the back it went down like a deep V. It was cool, I admit, I'd wear that if I could pull something off like that. She had eyes like color of a full moon. Her hair was a light blond and was flowing down her back. Her face looked like it had makeup on, but didn't. People said she was pretty, but that doesn't even begin to cover it.
" Mya, my dear." Luna said in a warming and comferting voice, "I have come beforth you for telling you your destiny, your future, your fate. I have taken upon notice that your mate, Trevor, has redemmed your trust, but it within his fingertips?"
I nodded. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and opened them again. She smiled and walked over to me. She shrunk in size abit, but not alot. She was still taller than me. She looked down apon me and talked.
" My child, he may have lost your trust, but your destiny does not fullfil without him. You must forgive his childish ways and be with him." It took me back. Wasn't the Luna, the very one infront of me, suppost to give me words of wisdom, not words of bullshit? No offence. He lost my trust, and he pleaded for me to give him a second chance. Everyone deserves a second chance, right? So I gave him one, and he just took it and ripped it up into tiny little pieces that cannot be fixed with glue, or another chance. I don't just give them out for free. Everything has a price to pay.
" Your world will be turned upside down, things will happen to you that you never would've expected to happen, to become true. Some sad, but some happy. But, Trevor helps guides you along the way. He helps you become your destiny. Don't be so stubborn and cold-hearted. Forgive the one who was made for you. The one I made for you. I don't just put everyones names in a fishbowl and pull out randomly, I choose each individuals mates for a reason."
I was abit mad, but I get her drift. She wants me to forgive that lying dick giver of a bastard a second chance, so later on in life I become who I was destined to be, a warrior for her. A protecter of werewolves exsitence. A Trevors mate.
" I just have a question," I said, as my voice wavered. " Why him? Why not someone trustworthy?" I whispered, my voice getting softer at the end. She just smiled and started to go back to her normal size.
" Good bye my child. I shall see you soon." Her comferting voice slowly becoming distant, like a dream never in reach.
" Wait! You didn't answer my question! Come back!" I screamed after her as she began to disappear within thin air. " NO! Come back! Why him?" I screamed. As my battle clothes began to disapear, and a bra and panties replaced them. I felt a thin sheet restricting me down. I grunted as I tried to roll out of the human burrito that I made of myself. I fail misurablely and end up on the floor face down. I sit up, thinking about the dream I had about Luna, and what she said Trevor.
Should I forgive him easily, just like Luna said? Forget all the dumbass things he has done, all the idiotic moves hes made on me? No, I'm going to have to forgive him sooner or later, but not now. I don't want to let him off of the hook so easily. I know Luna gives words of wisdom, but for once I'm going to go against her wishes and not forgive Trevor so easily.
But this plan, going against Luna's wishes, there's consequences that come as a free gift along with it. Am I willing to take it, or to run away in fear with my tail between my legs? Yes, but this isn't a great first impression. Or my ressimay.
