Mya's POV
The next two weeks I spent planning, I planned for Damon's Funeral, which was next week. I also spent planning for every response for every possiblitly that Trevor might throw my way. His plan of trying to get me back easily. But mostly planning for Damons funeral.
It has to be perfect. Nothing wrong, no glitch, not a single problem. I mean he would do the same for me. So I would do the same for him. So every day I would wake up and plan, what flowers are gonna be there, where the seats are going to be postioned, who's going to talk, who's throwing flower on the casket, who's coming, who's sitting where, and so on. I know I'm going overboard, but he's my idol and model when I was little. So, I'm a little crazy on this.
Then during the night I plan on my answers for Trevors pleads and trying not to give in the slightest. I would sometimes look in the mirror and make up a facial reaction to his pleads. Sometimes, I would stay up so late, I would only get a couple hours of sleep, and I would start hullucinating. One night I was looking in the mirror making up facial reactions, when my reflection took a coffee break and pleading Trevor replaced her. I was about to give in, for so life like it was, but then he faded and my reflection returned from her break.
I stretched and went down stairs and began to start planning. My eye lids drouping from the lack of sleep. I yawned and rested my head on my hand. The darkness started to consume me, but a warm touch brought me back to reality. I looked up to see my mom holding a cup of coffee for me. I smiled and took it gratefully. I took a sip as she sat across from me. She looked tired to.
" K, mom," I said getting straight down to business. " Where's Aunt Teressa gonna sit?"
My mom yawned and rested her head on her hand. " She can sit next to Uncle Henry."
" She can't stand Uncle Henry. They'll start fighting." I took out the seating chart and started to write names over chairs so they'll know where to sit. I accidently put Aunt Teressa next to Sam. They both can't stand each other either. I scribble it all out, getting frusterated. I start to scribble harder which accidently created a hole.
I groaned in frustration and crumpled up the sheet and threw it somewhere. I rested my head in both my hands. I heard a slurping sound and saw my mom drinking her coffee. I picked up mine and took a sip.
The warm substance ran down my sore throat, soothing the pain. I took another sip, and another, and another, until it was all gone. I got up to get another cup of coffee, and then we went straight back to the seating chart. After two hours, we found a spot for Aunt Teressa, where she won't fight with anyone.
I sighed in relief. After two hours we finally got everyone seated, now we had to go on to the flowers and where they're going to be positioned. We decided with black orchids, which were very rare and grew in Florida. I called a flower company down in Florida and they said they can deliver it by Wenesday, a day before Damon's funeral.
My mom was tired. Not like sleepy tired, but tired of something. She was tired of losing her family, tired of not being able to sleep at night without her mate sleeping soundly next to her, she was tired of people feeling sypmathetic for her, she's tired of life lessons, but mostly, she's tired of saying that they died for a reason, she's tired of using that as an excuse. Now, she thinks Karma is a bitch and should go kill some of its own family.
" Hey, mom. You go rest, I'll finish the rest." I smiled sleepily. She looked up and began to shake her head.
" No, I'm fine. I'll he-" She started but I interupted.
" Mom, just go to bed, there's only a little bit left anyways." She looked into my eyes and finally gave in. She got up from the chair and walked to her room.
" Thanks honey," she quietly said still walking.
I lied to her, there was still a lot of things left to be done. But she looked so broken, so tired, I told her to go to bed, that I got the rest of it. I began to look at the papers for the cost of the casket, where he's buried, the cost of the whole thing. I rubbed my temples, trying to soothe the migrane that was slowly creeping into my head. I went to the medicine cabinet and took two pain killers. I drank a cup of water and went back to financing.
~ 3 hours later~
Ding Dong
I awoke with a startle. I slept on the table, now I have a crick in my neck. I tried stretching it out in different ways. I got up and stretched.
Ding Dong
" Calm your tits, I'm coming!" I screamed.
I opened the door and to appear in front of my doorstep? Why Trevor of course. He looked desprete. I put on annoyed face, but inside my wolf was jumping with joy. I slammed the door, but he just in time caught his foot in between the doorframe and the damn wood block that I was still trying to close.
" What do you want?" I said rudely.
" You," He replied simply. I chuckled.
" You, lost me a long time ago, to that dick sucker." I tried closing the door again, but this time, he scooted in my house. That annoyed me.
" Sure, let yourself in." I said.
" Please hear me out." He got on his knees and begged. He started to crawl on his knees. This was a funny sight.
" Trevor, I don't have a dick. So can't really give me a blowjob." He didn't listen. I sighed and just left my house. I decided to take a walk. I guess Trevor decided to take a walk to, because I heard his footsteps trailing behind me.
" Go away."
" I'm going to follow you."
" Do you know what we call people like you? STAAAKEEERRRS."
" Do you know what people call this emotion that I'm feeling? Love." I stopped dead right into my tracks. I turned around and began to walk towards him.
" NO, if you were feeling love, you wouldn't hurt my feelings. You'd be considerate about how I feel. You wouldn't cheat on someone you love. Even if it takes soo long to gain their trust, you wait, not go behind their backs expecting them not to know. So it's little to late for you to gain my trust again." I said jabbing my finger into his chest with every pause I took.
I began to walk again, when I saw a fimilar red beat up ford truck coming my way. Jakes truck. I waved to him, and he pulled over. I jumped in and saw Seth, Erika, and Jorden were in the back seat too.
" Drive." Jake gave me the look that we'll talk about this later. He drove off and we passed Trevor, still in the same spot I jabbed my fingers into his chest. He watched us leave sight. I watched him slowly go out of view in the mirror.
" What was that about?" Jake asked. The others seemed as if they wanted to know to. I just shook my head.
" Just putting trash into the dumpster." I replied back.
They oviously got the hint I didn't want to talk about it. So they dropped it.
