I caught the pillow Lisa threw at me for the umpteenth time."Lisa, do you mind?. I'm trying to study". I yelled going through one of the complicated topics in chemistry. If it's anything I love, it's chemistry.
"You study everytime". She whined. "Let's do something fun like go to the park and get icecream or pizza"
"I'm studying Lisa. Just order the damn thing"
"You're no fun"
"Glad you're aware"
"Hey," her face lit up in excitement. Uh-on. "I heard Kayden talked to you"
"I wouldn't call that communication, more like he was being a dick. And did you see during lunch how all the girls swamped around him. I couldn't believe Vandi would be a part of that. I mean, he's just a guy..."
"Kenz!"Lisa cut me off. "You're babbling again"
"Sorry. But you get me though"
She chuckled.
A knock on my room door interrupted us. Before I could say "Jack" my brother had popped the door open.
"Explain your mission" I demanded.
"Give me a break Kenz" he tilted his towards Lisa. "Hey Lis, you look good"
"Thank you D. You did your hair how I told you to"
"I took your advice".
So that's why he looked so great. I thought.
Lisa gave him a thumbs up and a wink.
"And kenzy, you should learn from your bestfriend"
"Well okay Damian. Good thinking" I snapped cutting him off totally. "You have five seconds to get out of my room"
"it's a pretty good advice I'm giving you..."
"One!!" He scurried out.
💦💦
The next day, school was a lot quieter. I mean, the king has risen, It's now old news. Normal school activities could now continue.
I waited by my locker while Lisa communicated to a couple of freshmen girls from the volley ball team. God knows what she was telling them cos she was not even in the volleyball team. Matter of fact, she wasn't interested in any sport.
"Hey loser"
Oh God. When I just try to avoid problems, it comes directly to me.
Vandi and her friends; Rihanna and Alex stood in my front looking stunningly evil.
How did they manage to have the most perfect face even with their terrible attitude?
