Pledging my love

There were only 7 days left of the tour and you were so excited to get back home to Graceland and finally be alone with Elvis.

"Honey..." Elvis said in a low voice while coming out of the bathroom.

"Yeah" you looked a him with frowned brows.

"I was just thinking, but don't you think it's best if you go home to Graceland before the next stop" he said while drying his hair.

"What why, there is only a week left of the tour" you raised your voice at him

"Baby relax, I'm just thinking about you and the baby health. I don't you want stressing" he said while walking over to you.

You just looked at him.
"Baby you I love you, I just want what's best for you" he said while his hands surrounded your waist.

"Elvis you got to be kidding me, the baby is smaller than a goddamn pea!"

You slapped his chest, you knew that was the hormones talking
"Ugh I'm sorry, it's the hormones-"

"I know baby that's why I asking you to go home and relax"
He kissed your forehead.
"Jerry will be coming with you, he has to go back home." He said, you could fell the vibration of his voice inside of his chest.

You looked up at him.
"Why"
"I don't know, he said something about his wife" he stroked your hair.

"Love you baby" he kissed your hair
"Love you too" you mumbled into his chest.
"Just promise me to call me every night okay" you pulled away from his chest locking eyes with him.

"Of course, beautiful" Elvis cupped your head in his hands.

Down in the lobby, Jerry was standing with his head low. Waiting for you.
"J-man" Elvis yelled at him.
He turned around, giving us a big smile.
"Uh the lovely upcoming family" he said while bringing his arms up.

You smiled at his words
"Promise to care of my girl Jerry" Elvis went in for a man hug.
"Of course Elvis, anytime" they pulled away from each other, both looking at you.
"Ready kiddo to come home" Jerry said
"Always" you glanced up at Elvis.

"All right then let's get to airport" Jerry rolled the suitcases away.

"Promise to call Elvis" you looked up at him.

"I promise baby" he leaned down for at kiss.

"And promise to care of yourself"

"I promise" he chuckled
"Love you baby"  he kissed your forehead

"I love you too" you kept on kissing his lips, not wanting to leave his arms.

He chuckled in between
"Baby Jerry is waiting, it's only a week and then I'll be back"
"I know but-" you were interrupted by Jerry
"Come on Y/N, the plane is waiting"
You looked back at Elvis

"Alright bye, love you" you left a last kiss on lips, while pulling away.

Everything was the same in Graceland as you left it, thankfully.
You walked upstairs to you and Elvis room and threw yourself at the king sized bed.
You could smell Elvis against the sheets.

Jerry was standing in the door opening of the room, he knocked on the door to get your attention.
"I'm going, do you need anything before I leave" he asked
"Oh no, I will be fine. I have the maids if anything comes up" you smiled at him
"Great, just call if you need anything.
I'll stop by on Tuesday" he smiled back at you before walking away.

You just laid on silent, not knowing what to do, this was the first time in 2 years without doing anything.
You felt you eyes getting heavier and you finally dozed off.
