"Hello..? Joe?" You said in a low tone.
"Joe? Who's joe" a familiar voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Who is th-" you were interrupted by the women
"Is this Elvis's maid?" She sounded a bit annoyed.
"Excuse me, no it's Elvis wife" you said, knowing he still hasn't got on one knee for you yet.
"Wife! You gotta be Kidd-" you cut her off before she could end her sentence.

"Pardon me miss, but who are you" you said with confidence in your voice.
"Catherine, Elvis girlfriend" she said

Your heart sank at the name, your eyes stiffened.
Your hand slowly moved away from your ear, only hearing some mumbling from it.
All the memories came back like it was yesterday.
Catherine...

He lied, he fucking lied to me! Joe's on the road girlfriend, you son of a bitch!

Your back slid down the wall, you just sat there, your eyes not moved an inch.
You felt like your head was about to explode, everything felt like a fever dream.

You snapped back to reality when you felt a warm pool of water below you, you just looked at it before realizing what had just happened.
"J-Jerry!" You yelled from the kitchen floor.

Jerry came running out with drink in his hand, he looked you.
Your eyes were red and wet like you haven't been sleeping for ages.
He sat he drink on the kitchen counter,
"Y/N! Your water" he said in panic
"J-Jerry" you said in a trance.
Jerry sat on his knees, cupping your face.
"Honey, look at me. We have to go, to the hospital now!"
You just nodded, you could feel the sweat form on your forehead.

Jerry lifted you, with one arm under your legs and one around your waist.
"Goddamnit, lil'boy couldn't you have waited" he mumbled under his struggle.
He laid you on the backseat, and ran to the driver side and quickly drove of.

"J-Jerry don't call Elvis" you said with a bit of a struggle.
"Huh! Whatcha mean, your baby is one the way!" Jerry said in a panic trying to keep his eyes on the road.

"I don't wa-" a contraction cut you off.
"Honey! Hold it for 4 minutes more!" Jerry said.
You just laid there trying to concentrate on your breathing, but every thought on your mind were just a picture of Elvis being with another woman.

Jerry opened the car door and called for help at the hospital.
Two nurses came running out with a wheelchair, placing you gently in it.
Jerry just stood there, trying to catch his breath and  replay what just happened.

As you were rolled into your room, you could Elvis singing on every television in the hospital.
Jerry walked in a fast pace behind, trying too see Elvis perform on the televisions in each room.
"What a day! Elvis is performing in front of 1 billion people while you're having his baby"

You rolled your eyes at Jerry.
"Can't you just shut up for one second please"
"Sorry miss" he said while backing up.
The two nurses let out a little giggle, as they helped you get in the bed.

"I be right back" Jerry said from the doorframe.
"No Jerry you stay her-" another contraction cut your off.
"Oh yeah of course" Jerry gave you, his hand so you could squeeze it.

The contractions were getting closer and closer each other, you had never felt this much pain before, sweat was forming all over your body.
All you wanted was to be in Elvis arms, but at the same time you wanted to hit him so hard with a baseball bat.

The name Catherine kept popping up in your head and all sorts of questions,
How long? When? Where? Who knows? Does Jerry knows?

You snapped back from your thoughts when another contraction hit you like a car.
You squeezed Jerry hands like it was Elvis, causing Jerry to almost fall to his knees of pain!

The nurse check in on you every 30 minutes to see how wide you were.
"Open your legs darling and breathe" she said and did her thing.
"Okay... miss are you ready to meet your little boy?"

You nodded at her words, and Jerry gave your hand a squeeze. You looked at him.
"Honey, you sure you don't me to call him?"
Your eyes softened "call him, when the show is over. Will ya?" You said, while all the thoughts ran through your mind.
But at the end you still loved him, and he was the father of your child.

"Will do, just call me if you need help"  Jerry yelled from the room while you were driven into another room
