Amusement Park

I looked out the window as Mina drove into the parking lot of the amusement park. Felix had invited everyone to hang out all together, and I thought it sounded fun, so I agreed to go. I decided to bring Mina, too, as she'd not yet met any of my new friend group, and Leila was bringing her new friend, Star. I was a little nervous to be around so many people, but I knew being with my friends would help.

"You coming or what?" Mina asked, poking her head inside her car door. She'd already turned the car off and gotten out, but I guess I was too caught up in my own thoughts to notice.

"Yeah, sorry." I replied, unbuckling my seatbelt and exiting the car. Mina locked the doors, and we began walking towards the entrance gate. I could already see our rather large friend group in front of the park, waiting for everyone to arrive. Hyunjin caught my eye as we got closer, smiling and waving at me. I smiled back, my mood instantly brightening. "Hey guys!" I spoke.

"Taehee, hey!" Chan replied. "How are you, today?" he asked kindly, smiling at me as Hyerim did the same by his side.

"I'm doing pretty good. Even better now." I said, stealing a glance at Hyunjin. "This is Mina, by the way. She's my best friend." I introduced, gesturing to the girl beside me.

Everyone said their hello's and introduced themselves, smiling and waving at the new addition to the friend group. "It's nice to meet you all." Mina said.

"Since when are you so polite, Mimi?" I asked, jokingly elbowing Mina in the side. "All of a sudden there's new people, and you're a whole different person."

"Oh, shut up, Tae, I was trying to make a good impression. Guess that went out the window." She laughed, causing a few others to chuckle as well.

"Don't worry, Mina. Seungmin isn't the kindest soul out there, so I doubt you can be worse than him." Felix said, smiling brightly at the puppy-like boy beside him.

"Also, Seungmin, where's Leila?" I asked, looking around.

"She went to meet Star at her car so she didn't have to walk here alone. Apparently we can be pretty daunting as a group." He explained, rolling his eyes towards the end. I just nodded as he started to speak again, "Oh, there they are."

I turned around to see Leila and who I assume was Star walking towards us. The two were talking, and Star seemed to be a bit nervous. Noticing that and remembering how I felt meeting everyone for the first time, I skipped over to the two to walk with them the rest of the way. "Hi, you must be Star! I'm Taehee." I smiled, holding my hand out for Star to shake as we stopped.

"I'm Star, as you correctly assumed." She laughed a little. "It's nice to meet you, Leila was telling me how well you two got along at the café the other day." I blushed a little knowing Leila had talked about me but decided not to let it bother me.

I chuckled a bit before responding, "Yeah, we hit it off pretty well. The boys were a bit too chaotic for me that day, so we just had our own little conversation." I explained, smiling at Leila. "Leila, Star, this is my best friend, Mina. Mina, this is Leila, and as I'm sure you heard, this is Star." I motioned to each of them as I said their names.

Mina smiled and greeted them. As we all started getting more comfortable with one another, we decided it was time to enter the park. We showed our tickets at the gate and each grabbed a map to see where we wanted to go first.

"Maelin and I want to go to Magic World." Minho stated. "We could all meet up at the food court in, say, two hours for lunch?" he inquired, looking to the group for a response as everyone nodded in agreement.

Sumin spoke up quietly, turning towards Minho and his girlfriend. "Can I come with you guys? I've always loved the idea of magic." Maelin nodded and held her hand out to Sumin, who shyly walked over and grabbed it as the trio walked off towards the aforementioned section of the park.
