Chapter 2

When Greg got back home, he rushed down to the kitchen and looked for his mum.he took an apple and some juice.

"You have to go take a shower" said his mum , as she walked into the kitchen .

"Where's dad?" He asked,

"He's upstairs , waiting for you, he said he didn't want to start dinner without you she replied.

As soon as he heard the last word, he ran upstairs to the upstairs living room , and jumped in a three step interval on the stairs .

"Hey son , what's up"his father said , as he he was sitting on the couch in the upstairs living, wearing his favorite shirt and his shorts and sandals with his shaggy brown hair and his grey beard.

"Hi dad " Greg greeted as he sat down on the couch with his dad,"how was Canada?"

"Good", he replied with a smile on his face,"I got you something".

"What?" Greg asked .then his dad brought out a giant shaped rapper , and when Greg he opened the rapper , it was a pair of red deer antlers .

"Whoa ... Where did you find these ?" Greg asked with a strange confused look on his face.

"On the day i went exploring with my team members , i found them lying in the snow, i decided to bring them to you, son, i missed you" he said

I missed you too dad " Greg replied.

"mmmmm...I'm famished ", Greg's dad moaned,"lets go down for dinner ".

together , they sat on the table as a family and they shared and updated gregs dad about all that happened after he left.then something reminded Greg about what he asked his mum in the afternoon.

"so when are we going back to England?"asked Greg.

At that moment , Greg's dad gave his mum an eye like he was trying to say something.

"you haven't told him yet? " he asked.

"told me what?"greg was confused , was his dad hiding something from him?

"son... um...we were gonna tell you this soon,we just didnt know how to tell you" his dad said,

"tell me what?"greg asked again with more vigorous action.

His dad hesitated ,then the truth came out.

"your mom and i decided to have a new start..."he stated,

"what do you mean a new start..what?"Greg asked.

"your mom is pregnant",his dad said" we didn't wanted to tell you earlier ,but i had to go to canada , so we wanted to keep it a secret till like like nine months".

gregs reaction was blank , he didn't know how to react, he was happy and all but he was still angry about the fact that he couldn't go back to England , but he let it go anyway.

"mom , dad, that's amazing ,why didn't you tell me this before, i would've understood "he said.

**yawn**Greg yawned ,and told his parents goodnight , and went off to bed .

"well that went well"said his dad , then gave his wife a tongue kiss and went off to their room.

back with Greg, he went on his laptop and typed on his blog about the coming of his dad and the news of his little brother /sister , and then thought

'staying in America wont hurt , will it?
