CHAPTER 4: the house

The twisted, finger like branches of the petrifying trees sreamed danger through her brain but as she stared amongst the wet mud she came to the conclusion nothing would be that stupid to hide out there.

As she turned around and leaned into the doorway, she gazed back just to make sure. Nothing but the sound of the blowing leafs could be heard but as soon as she slammed the great oak door complete silence filled the house.

"It was just your mind Steph, just your mind." She sighed to herself.

"WHAT did YOU say stephy?!?" Her mum roared from the top of the case. Although she had the voice of a lion she also had the best of hearing, which stephy personally found very strange.
