she bowed back to him "good morning, my majesty" Jimin gulped down it was weird hearing the honorifics coming from the mouth of someone who was so much older than him "you don't have to add honorifics, her majesty" Jimin adds before clearing his throat making the old woman chuckle "you are the Queen now, you are higher in rank and it's my honor to call you that" she smiled pleasantly, Jimin frowned learning the odd tradition of Stygian kingdom, the Queen changes here before the death of the previous one and he wonders if it's the same with Kings

"The Queen changes with a new King here only if the King is already married, their mate becomes the new Queen, and if they aren't married or doesn't have any mate then the old Queen remains in their position till the king gets married and now you are the King's mate, and the Queen of Stygian" the former Queen explains seeing the puzzle on Jimin's face, and hearing himself being someone else' mate which is not the one his heart chooses was venom to his ears, as the words from his supposed mate echoes in his head making his skin crawl

the honey-sweet voice interrupted the train of Jimin's thoughts, he glanced at the girl wearing a full black sparkling dress, and the color of her dress was a highlight to his mind who knew the black color is only for mourning in the royal families he scans her from head to toe as she was standing beside the former Queen who was wearing a gold silk gown, she didn't care to introduce herself and Jimin realize she didn't even greet him in the first place, it was a huge offense to his egoistic pride

she quickly went towards the bed giving a look to Jimin which he didn't find so welcoming, looks like he ain't the only one not so pleased by his arrival in the Stygian palace, Jimin watches as her adam apple bobbed down and her expression went dark with her face going pale like all the blood from her body drained to the stained sheets instead which she was glaring at with rageful eyes

he glances up at the girl with his shy puppy eyes patting his long lashes she rolled her eyes slightly that it was not even noticeable but the mischievous Alasgar Prince was too quick to notice, "I'm sorry for asking you this but Taehyung--" he glanced at her again and then acts to correct himself with a bit of his lower lip "I mean the King said I can tell you anything" Jimin was having so much fun giving off the show to the girl who was more than unhappy by whatever Jimin was doing, at least he finds something exciting in this cursed palace, and never in his life he unwelcomed the fun of teasing someone
