Chapter 2

8:24 am
23rd July 2022
'Fuck!' I wake up late to my first job interview and im currently putting my hair in a messy bun due to the time i have left. I quickly do my makeup and put a skirt and white shirt on. I put my black converse on then run downstairs holding my phone tightly in my hand. I grab my car keys then run to my car forgetting my jacket which then i run quickly back into the house, I shout to my bestmates  "I love you! Dont do anything stupid when i come back home!" They both shouted i love you back then i ran back to my car, closing the door then turning it on.

8:52 am

Im already nearly a hour late, i walk into the office and straighten up my skirt. I walk towards the office desk while putting my jacket on. I clear my throat and stand straight up, The receptionist looks up at me and rolls her eyes. I make an annoyed face then asked her "Excuse me, Do you know where Mrs Calligans office is?" Then she looked at me again with a realisation face. "Oh my Miss Johnston your very late she's been expecting you, It is down the hall and the first door on your left!" She shouted to me as i started to walk towards her office. I finally got to her office and knocked onto the door. "Mrs Calligan? It's Kia johnston, im abit late im so sorry for that, i hope i'm not disturbing you." I said and looked at her threw the door glass. She made a waving motion signaling for me to come in so i did then closed the door behind me. "Your very late, Kia" She said and continued typing on her computer but stopped to look at me. "My god your hair is a mess!" She said then looked at me with a disgusted face. "Yes i was in abit of a rush you see, my alarm didn't go off and-" i was interrupted, "Yes yes no need to explain, Your here so you can be my one of my models, yes?" She asked me and i nodded, crossing one leg over another. I really hope i get this job because right now my rent is going higher and higher. "Great stand up for me" she said and then i did what she said. "Great figure Miss Johnston, May need to go on a diet to fit on some of my clothes but apart from that your perfect! Your hired." She said and put her hand out for me to shake so i did with a smile on my face. "Thank you Mrs Calligan." I said and started to walk out the office. "kia! Remember to be here by Wednesday 6th please!" I nodded and closed the door on my way out. I started to dance on the hallway since that's what i normally do but soon realised my shoes were squeaking and everyone easy looking at me, Like everyone.

10:24 am

I scream as soon as i got into the house and shouted Allie and James downstairs. "I got the job! I got the job!" i started to sing as they both joined in laughing at me. "Well done Kia!" they both said and we went over to our kitchen counter then opened a bottle of champagne. ( Their all 22 ) Thats when i knew that from now on everything was going to be a peice of cake. I soon got a idea in my head to celebrate. "You know abandoned Asylum up near Mount york?" They both nodded and sipped on their champagne. "How about for old time sake we go there tonight?" I smiled and drank the rest of my wine. "Yes oh my god Kia what an amazing idea, that's been there for what 6 years and no one's touched it?" James complained on and on about how we could get hurt but he's a pussy so it doesn't matter when Allie finished her champagne, she ran upstairs to get changed. I did the same of course due to us exploring. Now is where everything Changes, Like my clothes for instance i stink.

Colbys pov

"There's this abandoned Asylum near Mount york, basically right next to us if you wanna go there tonight since we haven't posted for what 2 weeks? Their waiting on a new video colby" Sam said and i just groaned. I've been tired all night trying to find a place for us to go exploring but i had no luck. When i heard Mount York my head popped up. "Mount york? A abandoned Asylum?" I asked sam and he nodded smirking. "Yeah fuck it we have to go there, we haven't done exploring in forever." I said then sat up trying to find out some things about the asylum. I found out that children used to go there and get tied up to the bed even if they hadn't done anything to get into the asylum. My heart started beating for 10 seconds when i read this next part. "Many people were explained to be found dead in there bed and were melted due to the heat and poison put into them" I closed the laptop and put it down. I went into my bedroom and got dressed into something camouflaged.

Asylum, Mount york.
Kias pov

You know when you smell something so awful your face turns into a weird one, yeah that's what just happened. As soon as we got near the Asylum my nose started to get itchy. I saw some flashlights already inside the asylum so we knew we had to be careful. I walked into one of the doors leading into the room where you get placed into it. My eyes kept looking towards the ground then the windows, it's not like there were any windows they were shards on the floor since people broke into this place. There was a mirror on the wall as soon as you walked in and i swear i saw handprint. "I think i just saw a handprint on that mirror right there" i said and looked at Allie. I snorted when i looked at her, she gave me a confused face then realised and turned around. James were stood there trying to blend into the wall. "James! Stop being a pussy and get your ass over here!" I shouted and started walk again. We heard footsteps from some other rooms and turn into one of the rooms. We heard them coming closer so we ran for our lives. I crashed into a body like figure and screamed my life out. I started moving backwards until i looked up and saw who i never thought i would see again. "Colby?" I said my voice shaking abit. "Yeah? Who are you?" He said and looked behind him to see sam. "Holy shit, It's kia dude. You scared the crap outta Kia!" Sam said and helped me up while i dusted myself off. "Sam? Oh my god i havent seen you in-" "7 Years." colby said and looked at me. I looked back at him and smiled. I hugged him tight as i could then hugged sam. "I never knew you lived in Cali?" I said and stepped back with my hand on my heart since it was still pounding. "Yeah we dont live here, we're only here for abit since we do loads of exploring and overnight videos now" My eyes went wide as soon as sam said that. "Wow great for you guys." I said and smiled but then turned my head to colby since he hasn't spoken a word. "Colby? Your alright dude?" Sam asked him and Colby whispered in his ear. Sams eyes widened and nodded. "Im sorry for scaring you Kia we didn't know other people were in here" Colby said looking at her smiling. "Yeah it's fine, we should probably get out though. Are you old enough to drink yet?" I asked them and they both nodded. "Well let me get you a drink then, i have loads of jobs at the moment so i can get you some free drinks if you want." We all started to walk out and head to the front of the Asylum.

"I've missed you Kia Johnston." Colby said.
"I've missed you more Colby brock, I told you we'd see eachother in the future." i said smiling towards him.

Now this is getting weird, They met eachother 7 years after they graduated and now they meet in a asylum? Pretty weird place to meet if you ask me.
