Third Person

Kia never thought she would meet someone from her old High school again but here she is meeting 2 people who went to her old high school and who were in the same band together. Her eyes instantly widened when she saw how much Colby had changed. His hair was purple, he had tattoos up his arm and even has buff arms now, like woah who knew he could get so buff but too be honest it had been 7 years. Even she had changed. She used to have purple highlights but now she has full black raven-hair. Kia changed for more popularity; Colby changed for his mental health, two separate reasons to change. Colby wouldn't take his eyes off of her since the asylum. They both sat at the back of the car, Kia looking out the window while hair blows in her face and him just looking at her, not in a weird way, a falling in love all over again kind of way. He knew since they graduated, there was a chance they wouldn't see each other again but now in this moment he's taking up every moment he has with her.

Colby knew that no one could ever meet his expectations of a perfect girl, but Kia Johnston was one hell of a girl. Sam knew how much he had liked her, he even tried getting them together, but Kia wasn't ready for a relationship then. So much has happened in Kias's life she knew that no one could ever make her feel 100% safe anymore apart from Allie and James. They were like her brother and sister; nothing could separate them. Now it's time to get back to reality.

Once they had got out the car, Kia started walking towards the club and signaled the bouncer they were with her. "Kia! I never knew you worked at a club!" Allie shouted over the loud music. "There's loads of shit you don't know about me Allie! Just because I trust you doesn't mean I tell you all my stuff, I love you to bits though!" she shouted back and felt everyone behind her. She went into the back as she told everyone to sit at the bar, she whispered to one of her co-workers that they get free drinks and he nodded. She went into the back and got changed into her uniform. As she came out, she saw Sam and Colby dancing on the dance floor, she laughed and looked at her co-worker. "How much tequila did you give them Aaron?" he then signaled with his fingers on how much he gave them, and it was only a little amount. "Light-weights": she mumbled under her breath. She started making drinks for her customers and got some tips. She could feel pairs of eyes on her as she started to put her hair into a messy bun. Sam looked over to Colby and smirked seeing him stare at Kia. "Dude! You never looked at Taylor this way!" he said to Colby and Colby's head turned towards him. "Don't speak of her name Sam you know what happened." and as soon as he finished that sentence, his phone started ringing. He took out his phone and went to the bathroom. "What Taylor?" He said groaning. "I miss you Colby, I'm sorry for what i did please give me one more chance i beg." Colby groaned and hung up the phone but as soon as he did, she started spamming his phone. He walked back onto the dance floor then over to Sam near the bar. "Bro! I got to go Taylor keeps spamming me, she wants to get back together again!" Sam's face went pale and shook his head, he grabbed Colby's arm and pulled him aside. Kia saw that interaction and watched their conversation. "Are you fucking crazy man! She cheated on you for fuck's sake, why are you going to get back with her after that!" Colby started to think and walked back to the bar, not saying a work.

After 11pm

"You guys can stay at our place tonight since you guys are really drunk." Kia said and walked towards her car. They all squashed in and since Kia was the only sober one, she was driving. "I know i never told you this before Kia but you're like Really pretty you know" James said drunklike. Once they got home Sam slumped onto their couch while Allie and James got into bed. Colby was the only one who was wide awake. He also didn't say a word the whole night so Kia knew something was up. What could it be that's keeping him quiet, she asked herself.

She placed him on the other couch laying down, "Colby, can i ask you something?" she said sitting on the edge of the couch, fidgeting with her rings. Colby could hear in her voice something was bothering her. "Yeah sure, I may be a bit drunk though so don't take anything too Serious" he said trying to lighten up the mood which it did for a little since Kia laughed a slightest bit. "Why were you silent all night?" She asked him and he looked down then sat up straight looking up at Kia. She knew he felt uncomfortable about telling her, so she stood up. "Sorry if you don't want to talk about it that's fine, I'm tired now. Sleep well Colby." She walked to her room down the hall and into her pajamas. Colby felt bad for not having a reason to tell her but soon forgot about it as he fell asleep then Kia fell asleep soon after getting in bed.

"Sweet dreams Colby" she mumbled then dozed off.
