CHAPTER THIRTY MY BELOVED.

LETS GO AND HOPE I DONT HATE THIS CHAPTER AFTER POSTING

-------------------------

venti woke up alone, and in a field of flowers, no less. sitting up, he noticed it was a cliff, overlooking a vast ocean.

"barbatos? oh, wait you prefer venti now, i need to remember this." a voice came from behind, and when he turned, it was a dragon.

"am i-"

"you're not my... venti, are you?" this dragon was perceptive, that was obvious.

"i don't know-??"

"let me bring you up to speed in this universe. *736^0) is dead, you took his form, and went undercover in the guise of a bard in mondstadt. you're the anemo archon, and-"

suddenly, the dragon glanced up into the sky, before growling slightly. "run. now. i can't tell you any more, i sense something's wrong. i'll find you later, if i'm fine"

and so venti ran. he ran down the cliff, tripping over his own feet. as he did, he felt the air around him slow his fall, before he stepped down perfectly fine. noticing a small alcove in the cliff, he sheltered in it, sighing.

he had no clue on what was going on, and he had the feeling that he really didn't know anything about this world.

and he was sure he had no idea what anemo was. [and that this might be a whole dream.]

using this time to check his body, he found a bow [skyward harp was the name, that he'd later find out.] that within moments of him touching it, turned into a lyre. upon touching it again, he realized it hadn't returned to it's bow form until he hoped it'd become a bow.

glancing out from the small alcove, he realized the dragon from before was apparently angry and flying towards a city, or what he assumed was a city from where he was looking.

leaving the safe space, he hoped muscle memory was good enough for him to fight, if he ever needed to, and he began to trek towards the city. luckily, he knew a few of his songs on the lyre, but he wouldn't be seen as the same bard.

so he had to be careful, and not let anyone notice him, and if they did, he'd have to try and say his voice went out. something that rarely happened nowadays, but he has to do it, because he really doesn't want to fuck up this version of himself's life.

coming up to the main bridge to the city, he felt the air suddenly pick up, and found that the entire city was practically trapped in a cyclone, and he was trapped on the outside. stepping backward, he noticed his braids had began to glow.

guess who might start a new genshin account.

(do y'all want venti to go through every archon quest [minus chasm]?)
