i want to get to chapter 37 now so i can write more of this.

as soon as his braids had began to glow, the cyclone began to part as he stepped forward. he rushed into the city, and hid behind a building, leaning against it. he was in the heart of a cyclone, which was probably caused by the dragon that had previously been helping him know what was going on in this world.

"stormterror's attacking again?!" an oddly familiar voice called out, before the girl who had shouted rushed towards the alchemy station, as shown by the sign above the center. the green-haired girl grabbed a brunet and pulled him inside the center, and that was when venti realized his friends also had counterparts here.

jean walked down the streets, making sure everyone was safely inside their homes or workspaces, before turning to the few knights on the streets. "make sure everyone's doors are locked, and no one is in the upper floors of their houses. if you can, bring timmie inside. he was outside when this started."

guy and huffman nodded, before she watched them rush off. the dandelion knight leaned onto her sword as she looked at the dragon circling above.

"may barbat- amber!" she shouted suddenly, turning towards the gate, guarded by the winds. rushing towards the knights, near the gates, she sighed. "did amber return yet?"

"n-"

"good. she shouldn't be back yet, i'm just worried."

she left the two knights confused, before she continued walking the streets of mondstadt. 'stormterror' had been getting more and more active lately, and she was making sure everyone was inside. of course, she was also looking for venti, because even though she'd warned him, every single time an attack happened, he'd refused to get inside.

"venti, i swear, since you're not inside again, this time i'm going to tell diluc to stop serving yo- ... venti, you're acting differently."

trying his best to get it across, venti motioned that his voice had gone out.

"stop lying, you were speaking to kaeya and i earlier, remembe- who are you."

"what-?"

"different mannerisms. you'd have laughed and gone into the adventurer's guild by now. if you were venti, of course."

"let me explain."

jean sighed, glancing at the sky. "explain in my office, now hurry. the knights are being recalled as we speak, kaeya's doing that, i believe."

and with that, jean grabbed venti's arm and dragged him into the knights headquarters and to her office, all while weaving through the others flowing into the building.

i love this! I also technically have a beta-reader but they (they/it!!) are only on chapter 6 rn.

anyways im gonna work on the vocab that was due three months ago.
