Time: 11:35 PM, Sunday
Setting: Erasermic Family Home - Shinsou's Room

~~ Shinsou's POV ~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shinsou laid in his bed, staring up at the ceiling.
His foster parents had helped him calm down earlier, instead of just leaving him to do it on his own.
They asked if he was okay, and if he needed anything, but didn't push him to tell them what caused the attack, which was appreciated.
Now he was just reflecting on it. Why did that happen? There was usually always a cause for his anxiety attacks.
Nothing happened to cause one this time around. He didn't get it.
Part of him wanted to go ask Eraserhead and Present Mic, but they were probably already asleep.
The school week started tomorrow, so Shinsou had to actually try to sleep, too.
But, as he laid there, he realized just how awake he still was.
He also realized that he'd barely eaten anything today.
Would his foster parents be mad if he got a late night snack? What if they found out, and punished him?
No. Stop. They wouldn't. From everything Shinsou had heard about Eraserhead, from other students at UA, he was a good teacher, and Mic was just energetic, and loud.
Plus, they were heroes. They wouldn't treat him badly for something like that, right?
His stomach growled, loudly. He definitely wouldn't be able to sleep if he was hungry.
He'd just hide it. No big deal. He had gotten good at hiding these things, as sad as it sounded.
After some hesitation, Shinsou got up, and left the room, before sneaking through the hall, and to the top of the stairs.
He listened. For any sound, any movement, any voice.
He waited.. And waited.. And waited..
Nothing.
After some time, he moved down the stairs. They creaked under his feet.
He stopped. No sounds from the master bedroom.
He continued. As soon as he reached the bottom of the stairs, he walked to the kitchen.
To his surprise, he saw Eraserhead sitting at the table, drinking coffee and grading papers.
Shinsou froze.
The kitchen was entirely dark other than a small reading light the older man was using to see his papers.
This was it. He was going to get yelled at. Or so he thought.
The older man noticed him, and looked up. "Can't sleep?"
"Uh.. No. Not really. I was just.. Grabbing something to eat, to see if that would help. Is that fine?"
