I was woken up by my arm being nudged, I didn't want to get up though, I was warm and comfortable, so I just kept my eyes closed and moved a little, presuming Jungkook just wanted more space. "Y/N you need to get up and go back to your room..." a warm breath was on my neck as Jungkook whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine, now I was definitely awake.
I yawned and walked out onto his balcony, climbing back onto mine and walking into the freezing cold room -cold because the balcony doors had been open all night. I changed and sat on the bed, wondering if I should go downstairs or wait a little longer.
I waited, brushing my teeth and applying some makeup. There was a knock at my door, "Y/N, do you want some breakfast?" A familiar voice was at the door, I opened it and looked down at Deiji, who was smiling up at me, "sure, let's go"
Deiji left for school soon after breakfast and Jungkook's mum gave us each a separate list of chores to complete and schoolwork to do set by our teachers. We barely hung out the whole day except lunch, Jungkook tried to stack as many crackers as high as he possibly could, and when they all fell and made crumbs on his freshly-hoovered floor he pouted until I picked them all up for him, rolling my eyes at his childishness.
We finished everything just as the time hit 4 o'clock, I slumped onto the sofa, relaxing my whole body, Jungkook lay down with his head on my lap and sighed heavily, "if it's like this everyday we should just get our own place instead, it'd be a lot less hassle" I laughed in agreement. There was a noise like a ringtone and Jungkook picked up his phone, sitting up and looking down at it awkwardly, "the boys are on their way, they'll be here pretty soon..." that was my queue to leave then.
I stood up, "enjoy your evening then." I smiled politely although inside I was feeling as if I had just been thrown away and used, but Jungkook was letting me stay in his house, so I should be grateful.
"Stay in my room, then at least you won't have your mind spiralling without me, when I can't stop it." The care in his voice almost brought me to tears as I climbed the stairs, entering his room and sitting on his bed. "Well what do I do in here." I mumbled as I looked around. The room looked a little untidy so I decided I could clean up for him, he'd better appreciate my efforts though.
I heard the front door open and a bunch of loud voices spoke, I paused what I was doing in order to listen what was being said. "School is so weird without you" said one voice, "if only you hadn't helped that Y/N girl you'd still be with us" said another, causing guilt to fill me. "Speaking of, how is it going with her?" My eyes went wider as I tried to make my hearing even better, like it was possible. "Uh yeah it's fine, listen we can hang out downstairs today, my mum won't be home till late" Jungkook was clearly trying to change the topic of the conversation.
About an hour passed and I had only just finished making everything on top of Jungkook's cupboards straight, I began to pick up the clothes off his floor, looking around to which cupboard they go in. I opened some draws and was pleased to find the rest of his clothes in there. I folded up the clothes and put them away, standing and stepping back to look at the now-clear floor. As I did I accidentally knocked over the lamp behind me, which fell to the floor with a crash, "shit" I whispered to myself.
