The start of something

Grace snape walked off of the train with her best friend Draco malfoy. She looked to see Harry Potter and the rest of the golden trio and looked to him

"I'm surprised that the ministry is letting you walk free. You should be locked away" Draco said as Harry went to charge for him as grace grabbed Draco arm and pulled him back from Harry

"Complete nutter I tell you" Draco said

"Stay away from me" Harry yelled as they walked off.

"Do you really have to wind him up Draco. You know all of the things that is going on at the minute" she said as she looked to see everyone else but Draco walk off as he grabbed her arm and looked to her and smiled

"I'm sorry grace. I know how things are and I'm sorry look I heard father talking with your father and they said things are going to change and you have been my best friend for as long as I can remember. Just promise that no matter happens we will be in this together" he said as grace looked to him and smiled

"With been friends as long as I can remember. I know how messy it is this but I just can't help but worry over everything" grace said as he looked to her and smiled

"I know it's hard but you will be okay max potter. He's harmless and it's only a matter of time before the dark lord does what he has too" Draco said as grace looked to him and smiled

Grace walked out of the great hall and frowned as she saw her father "are you okay dad?" She asked as Severus looked to his daughter and nodded. He knew how she was no longer a kid and he couldn't help but worry over the war and how she was going to be caught up in it all

"I'm okay. Just be careful this year umbridge is here and she's from the ministry and she's keeping an eye on the school and it's not a good thing" he said as grace nodded

Grace went to walk off as Severus looked to her "grace" he said as she turned to face him

"Draco malfoy. I know he is your friend and all just be careful he is the son of a death eater" Severus said as grace looked to him and raised an eyebrow at him

"And what does that make you father?" Grace asked as she walked off before he could reply

Grace walked into the common room and smiled as she saw it was just Draco and smiled as she looked to him

"Where is everyone?" She asked as he looked to her and smiled

"Put and about I thought I'd wait for you. Are you okay?" he asked as grace ran a hand through her hair and looked to him

"It's just my father getting to me you don't need to worry" grace said as Draco smiled

"I always worry over you grace. I care about you" he said as she looked to him and smiled. He placed a hand on his cheek and smiled as he leant in and kissed her

Grace wrapped her arm around his neck and pulled him closer unaware of how their friendship was about to change
