Grace walked into the common room and smiled as she saw Draco "hey are you okay" grace asked as she looked to him.

She could see that he was distracted and she was worried. She was worried over what was going on with him. She knew how he was her best friend and she could tell that he was not himself

"I'm okay it's just my father. You know what he is like" he said as grace nodded

"Oh trust me I know...mind is the same. We're going to be late should be head to breakfast" she asked as Draco nodded. Grace grabbed her slytherin scarf off of the side and slide it on

She was cold and she knew how her father was getting to her. She hated being at the school were he taught. She hated how he interfered in her life. Grace knew how she just wanted it to be okay

Grace and Draco walked into the hall. She saw her father as he sat at the teachers table and rolled her eyes as she looked to him

"Hey are you okay" Draco asked as they sat down. Grace looked to him and smiled.

"I'm fine. Will you stop glaring at potter it's annoying Draco. Besides I thought you'd be with Pansy" grace asked as Draco groaned at the mention of her name

"She's annoying. She wants me to go out with her. To take her virginity. It's not going to happen" he said as the two of them held a look

Grace smirked and looked to him. "Oh come on. I would have thought you would want to get in on that?"

"You're not funny."

Grace walked along the corridors. She saw her father and sighed. "Hello father."

"Grace. Don't forget your essay," Severus said as he walked right past her.

Grace rolled her eyes. She looked to see Harry Potter as he walked towards her. "Your dad. He's been helping Draco. I don't know what's going on there. But you need to be careful," he told her.

"And how do you know that? Been snooping have you? You need to get a life Potter. Not everyone is bad. You're just paranoid. You can't see further than your own ass. Ron Weasley has twisted your mind."

Harry scoffed. He shook his head. "I actually thought you'd be a decent person. But you're just like your father. No wonder you don't have friends."

Grace smirked. She took a step towards him. "I don't need friends. But I have Draco. So why don't you go back to your little posse. And leave me alone," she spat.

Draco looked up as Grace walked in. She looked mad. "What's going on?"'he asked.

Grace sighed. "Potter. He's just being an ass. And I'm not in the mood for it. He's spouting his usual nonsense again. Merlin knows how he's still a student here."

Draco smirked and winked. "It's because he's Dumbledore's golden boy. No one can do or say anything to him," he told her.

"Yeah? Well it fucking sucks. And I'm not a fan of him."

Draco looked to her and smiled. But neither of them were aware of how their friendship was about to change.
