Astrid: Yaknog! Get your Yaknog! Come on! Get a frothy delicious cup of cheer!
Astrid comes upon her friends.
Astrid: Hey, you guys! Try this tasty new beverage I made for the holidays.
Tuffnut: Ugh! What's that smell? Is that you? [shoves Ruffnut]
Astrid: It's Yaknog!
Tuffnut coughs, disgusted.
Tuffnut: Ugh! If I drink that I'm gonna yak nog all over the place!
Astrid: Maybe you'd rather taste a punch in the face?
Ruffnut sniffs at the Yaknog, disgusted.
Snotlout: Astrid, it sounds delightful. I'd love a mug.
Snotlout grabs a mug and takes a big gulp, but immediately regrets it. He forces himself to swallow it because it tastes really bad.
Snotlout: You could really taste the yak!
Fishlegs: Mmm, yum! What is that?
Astrid: Oh! You wanna try some? It's my new traditional drink.
Snotlout stands behind Astrid, shaking his head with a look of warning on his face, and Fishlegs takes the hint that it's not for human consumption.
Fishlegs: Oh... You know... Ehm... I have... suddenly inexplicably changed my mind.
Astrid: Well, you don't know what you're missing. I bet Hiccup and Ester will love this.
Tuffnut: [whispers to Fishlegs] Highly doubt that...
Astrid runs off. Ruffnut notices Snotlout's discomfort.
Ruffnut: Are you crying?
[At Gobber's smithy]
Astrid: Hiccup? Ester?
Hiccup: Yeah, We're over here, Astrid. Coming!
Ester: One sec!
They come out from the smith and place something on the table.
Astrid: Here. Happy holidays, from me to you guys. Don't drink that one though. [points at a cup] Snotlout drank from it.
Hiccup: Thank you!
Ester: Thanks for the warning.
They both grab a cup, leaving one on the wooden plater.
Astrid: What are you guys up to that you needed to go inside the smith for, huh? [smirks]
Ester: Get your mind out of the gutter Astrid.
Hiccup: Okay, you're gonna think I'm crazy, but I just couldn't stop thinking about what Tuffnut said last night. Toothless can't come and go like the other dragons, and that's just not fair. I was up all night and I think I found a way to fix that.
Hiccup shows Astrid a new tail fin, and takes a sip of the Yaknog. Realizing how disgusting it tastes, he's unable to swallow. Ester notices this and slowly places her cup down.
Astrid: No way! You built him a new tail? So he's gonna be able to fly without you!
Hiccup: [With a mouth full of Yaknog] Hmhm!
