Chapter nine

Amber's pov-

It's been 2 months since me and dove got together, it is also the last month of filming before it's just retakes to be done.

I was chilling in my trailer, it was 2 more hours until I was needed on set.

As I was about to put on another movie, dove walked in with her I have bad news face, that I have only seen twice before now.

"Dove?" I ask as I stand up and pull her over to the sofa before sitting down again. "What's up?"

"We need to talk." The brunette said as she looked at the blonde.

"Okay?"

"You said at the start of the relationship that you wanted kids and you saw yourself with kids in the next couple years." Dove sighed

"I know I did, but it doesn't have to happen for another couple years if you don't want them." I try to comfort her, I wasn't really understanding why she was bringing it up, she said she was happy to have kids in the future.

"The thing is, with my career taking off again after Disney and boyfriend going viral, I don't think I'm in the place to have kids and while I was thinking about that I realised I might never want kids."

I sat there not really knowing what to think.

I really love dove but I really want to have kids, I fell in love with the idea even more after all the time I've spent with scars kids.

But I guess I'm happy being the cool aunt when any of my siblings have them.

"Okay, if that's how you feel then we don't have to have kids."

"But you always wanted kids." She says as she holds my hand.

"Yes, but I want to be with you and if that means no kids then I guess I don't need them."

"No, you want kids and I don't want to be the reason you don't have them. So I think it's best that we break up." Dove says as she places her hand on my face.

"But-"

"No buts Amber- I won't be the reason you have to give up your dream of being a mom."

"I love you dovey." I sigh as I cuddle against her, right now I need comfort even if it is by the person who's causing the pain.

"I love you too Amber, remember I'm always here when you need me. But you need to find someone who wants the same thing you want."

I'm sure I looks like a mess, tears were flooding my eyes and running down my face.

"I'll go get your things from my house and drop them off at yours and get mine, I'll leave my key when I go." She tells me as she stands up and grabs everything of hers in my trailer.

"Ok...here's your key and I'm guessing you will want this back." I sigh as I hand her the key and go to take off the necklace she gave me.

"No, keep it." She leans over and kisses my lips gently. "Bye my love."

"Bye dove." I watched as she left my trailer, when the door shut I went into the small bedroom and rolled up in a ball.

I'm allowing myself an hour to cry and then that leaves me half an hour to collapse myself before going to get ready for filming.

Scarlett's pov-

I was sitting on my phone while watching the crew work, I had saw dove enter set so I was trying to distract myself.

Talking about dove I saw her walking over to me and she looked upset.

"Scarlett, do you Uh know where Lizzie is?"

"She's filming at location, she will probably be an hour and a bit." I replied trying to figure out what's wrong with the woman.

She was holding two bags what looked like they were filled with clothes.

"Oh Uh.... Can you please check on Amber, we broke up and I don't want her to be alone." Before I could even reply she was gone.

But I didn't care, amber is upset and I'm not going to sit here and let her be alone.

I get out of my seat and make my way towards her trailer, walking in when she didn't reply to my knocking.

"Oh amber.." I sigh when I see the woman curled into a ball crying.

I climbed onto the bed before pulling her on top of me.

"She broke up with me because I want kids and she doesn't, I understand why it just hurts." She sobs into my chest.

I just play with her hair, allowing her to just let all her emotions out.

After a while she finally fell asleep, I messaged the director and told him that it was best to film any scenes that didn't involve amber and myself if possible.

He happily agreed and asked me to tell Amber he hopes she's okay.

The next thing I done was text Lizzie and explain everything and let her know I was taking amber home as the kids were at my parent's for the weekend, they wanted a grandparent fun weekend.

I slipped out from underneath the asleep blonde and pack up all her things she might need before grabbing her a hoodie and her shoes.

"Amber sweetie, can you wake up so we can get you home?" Her eyes slowly opened, they were already swollen and red.

She puts her shoes on before allowing me to put her hoodie on for her.

I hold her hand as I lead her to the car and hold it all the way to her apartment as I drive.

"Thank you for helping me Scarlett." She thanked me as she shoots me a sad smile.

"Come on, let's go get some comfy clothes, order in some takeout and ice cream and binge watch movies."

"Cuddles too?" She asked with her adorable pout.

"You can have all the cuddles you want."

We were watching the tenth movie of the night as amber was laid against my chest.

"Thanks for today Scarlett." She says with a yawn.

"No problem, I will always be there for you just like how you are there for me and the kids."

I Wait on a response but I don't get any, I guess she fell asleep.

I pecked her head before allowing myself to fall asleep too.

Is it bad that even while she is upset and going through a breakup, all I can think about is that I might have a chance after all.
