Chapter 29

Scarlett's pov-

I was walking around the park with cosmo, rose and my mom.

"So is Amber excited for the baby tomorrow?" She asked, watching the kids happily eating their ice cream.

Tomorrow is the day that amber is being induced and hopefully we will finally meet our sweet baby girl.

"She is so excited for it, she's fine being pregnant but she's just so uncomfortable now and being bed bound is really getting to her."

"I'm excited to meet this sweet girl." She smiled and pick up Cosmo. "These little sweethearts are going to have the best weekend with us then the week with amber's mom so you don't have to worry about anything but the sweet newborn and amber."

Suddenly my phone started to ring.

"Speaking of my darling wife." I smiled and walked away a little bit so I could answer my phone. "Hey honey what's up."

I was meant to be home in an hour and I was bringing food so I'm guessing she is gonna ask me to bring something back.

"Um so the induction won't be happening tomorrow." She groaned out and I could hear her moving around.

"Why? Have they pushed it back again?"

"Nope, baby girl decided she wanted to come now. My water broke an hour ago but the contractions didn't start until 30 minutes ago."

"I'll be home soon, get ready to jump in the car my love and I'll run in to grab the hospital bags."

We said our goodbyes and love you'd before I walked back over to my mom and kids.

"Right babies, momma and I will see you in a couple days to meet your sister." I smiled and gave them a tight hug before standing up and giving her a hug. "She's went into labor so I'm gonna have to leave early, I call when you guys can come visit the hospital."

I kissed her cheek before running off to my car.

I ran into the house to see Amber sat on the living room floor doing her hair, her makeup already finished.

"Amber baby?" I laughed gently at my wife.

"Hey scar!" She smiled and waved at me before going back to doing her hair.

"I thought you said you were in labour?" I asked confused as I walked over to her.

"I am, I just thought I would get ready while I waited for you, my hospital bag is at the top of the stairs." She replied but didn't look up at me.

"Alright I'll go put it in the car and you better be ready to leave by then." I sighed knowing she wasn't going to stop getting ready.

She didn't want the paparazzi or the public knowing what day the baby was born so the plan was always to make it look like a normal hospital appointment. 

"Fucking hell!" I heard her shout and groan from downstairs, I couldn't help but giggle. "Shut the fuck up im in pain and it's your child's fault!"

I could hear her trying not to laugh herself so I know she isn't actually mad at me.

I couldn't help but smile as I saw amber laid against the back of the hospital bed, taking deep breaths of gas and air while the midwife checked her out.

She has been in labour for over 10 hours and she's still only 7 centimetres.

Well that was the last check an hour ago, she's being checked now.

"Ice chips." Amber groaned as she looked at me. 

I have done ten ice chip runs in the last hour and a half.

"No time hon." The nurse said as she finished her routine check and smiled at us. "You are now 10 centimetres so it's time to head to the birthing suit."

Amber took a deep breath as a few nurses came In and took the breaks off the bed and started to lead us to into a room.

I watched as Amber slept and our beautiful baby girl slept in the hospital cot beside us.

She was beautiful, she looked like rose did as a baby.

But instead of being bald like rose was the new baby has a beautiful full head of blonde hair.

We did have a name for her but when she was born we both agreed that it didn't suit her.

"Scarlett?" Amber groaned as she woke up and moved so her head was against my chest.

"Yeah my love?" I smiled and played with her hair.

She is an amazing mom to rose and cosmo and I couldn't be more grateful that she just gave me another beautiful baby.

"What about Juliette fern?" She asked sleepily. "But spelt j u l i e t t e instead of J u l i e t. "

"Mhm, we can add it to the list we will look over after you get enough sleep my dear." I reminded her, she only gave birth an hour ago and you can tell she was exhausted.

She pouted but went back to sleep anyway.

Everything was perfect at this very moment, the only thing missing were rose and cosmo.

"Bethany?" I offer but amber shakes her head as she fed the unnamed baby.

"Astrid sage? Astrid links to cosmo by stars and space and sage links to rose as it's a plant?" Amber said as rubbed the baby's cheek as she was breastfeeding.

"I love that, the kids names link but are still unique." I smiled and leaned forward. "My little Astrid sage johansson."

"Astrid sage or Estella iris." She smiled and leaned forward to kiss me.

"I like both maybe we keep the name we don't use for if we have another baby girl." I suggest as we pulled away from the kiss.

"I think this baby is more of Estella iris." Amber said as she looked down on again. "Our little Ella."

"Estella iris, it's perfect." I agreed and took the baby when she was done feeding.

"My mom and your mom are bringing the kids to meet the baby in an hour." I informed her as she was asleep when my mom called. 

"Pass me the name board so I can spell her name out for the announcement." She smiled.

Rose had asked if she could announce the name when they came to visit and now that she can read well enough we decided to do a cute board with her name on for rose to tell them.

"You get some more sleep and I'll do it."

"Are you sure?" She asked tiredly, I remember being 12 hours postpartum and I was exhausted.

"I'm sure, get some sleep my dear and I'll wake you when our other baby's are here."

"Okay, I love you my sweet Estella." She smiled, kissed me gently before going back to sleep.
