chapter 6

It was very silent the whole time, I still noticed kokichis breathing pattern so I decided to help
him abit.

"So Sedona and shuichi this is kokichi. He's really nervous right now but he'll eventually do it since he's brave enough." I started, then he took a breath and spoke up

"yes y/n's correct... But before you say anything I promise I'm not the same him you once knew. Tho I'm still the same person... I've changed throughout the years. And I promise I'm not lying." He stated and then sighs

"you may not believe me at the very moment but what I'm saying is true." He held his hand upon his chest. I looked at the male and smiled.

Shuichi just stood there the whole time in shock, I mean who wouldn't? The very person he once knew that was a liar. Stood there right before his very eyes. "Kokichi.... I was wondering how you were. I felt bad for what I said... So I apologize I didn't realize that i hurt you. But I know apologizing won't do anything but it's better to say something right?" He spoke up, the purple haired male just nodded in agreement.

" I understood why you said that, I know I wasn't so nice ether. I mean come on I was an asshole to everyone. So please don't apologize I should be the one apologizing," He responded. I was in pure shock but happiness The  boy  who was once a being who never trusted anyone had finally spoke the truth. And I'm glad he did. He can finally make amends with the naive haired boy.

I felt a smile sneak upon my lips as I just felt relieved that I could finally see him  happy and let go. I smirked and then let out a huff "come on where's the hug you two?" I teasingly spoke up and before kokichi could process or even reply I just pushed shuichi and kokichi into a hug.

( A/n lol I've wanted to see them hug so why not and I also just wanted to do this for the saiouma shippers out there as well :> note that there will be more focusing on the other ships and but don't worry it is still a kokichi x reader)

"H-Hey! What was that for y/n??" Shuichi stuttered while I just pouted "come on I want you guys to hug!" I started with crocodile tears filling my eyes .

Kokichi was the first to hug him to get it out of the
Way. Shuichi continuously just stared off into space but  then eventually gave in and hugged the purple haired boy back. "Thank you shuichi.... I really appreciate it.." kokichi spoke up with a genuine smile. "It's not problem kokichi your my friend after all." He said with a gentle smile.

"Y/n! Dinner is ready and it's starting to pour rain outside!" Sedona spoke up and the two boys broke the hug and then nodded. "Hey since I figured that you all are staying at my place  for a while why don't we go cuddle up into blankets and watch a movie?" I spoke up and kokichi nodded at the idea. "That sounds comfortable and relaxing." Kokichi responded
"I agree and I call dibs on the first to pick the movie!" Sedona cheered.

I sighed and at the end giggled just abit."okay and who wants to be the next to pick a movie?" I asked. "I don't mind who ever goes since I most likely would have picked a mystery like movie." He chuckled nervously "I don't mind if we chose a mystery movie I actually enjoy those genre's!" I smiled softly and he kinda blushes abit out of embarrassment. "O-oh. Really?" He asked.

He's such a sweet boy I can't. "Yep! Okay since he was polite about it were going to watch a mystery movie." I spoke up with a smile

Kokichi and Sedona just nodded and headed off to go and get comfortable in the blankets while I got the plates ready and I didn't notice but shuichi came up to me. "I just wanted to help with the serving since you've done so much so I want to at least do something in return." The detective said softly with a smile.

"Oh no you don't have to it's a treat no ne-" I then got cut off "it's okay y/n-san. I don't mind really" he responded and then I just quietly got some of the plates and headed off to the living and set down the plates. "Okay so you can choose. And I cooked  it all so I hope their all about the same portion on the plate" I said. "Wow I seriously love your cooking y/n!" Sedona said and I just smiled "thanks I appreciate it."  I spoke and just grabbed a plate and sat down next in-between Sedona and kokichi. While shuichi sat on Sedona's side, the male gently grabbed the plate and thanked me. The others did so as well and I just thanked them back.

I grabbed the Remote and handed it to shuichi, then he got onto (movie app of your choice) and was scrolling through the movie selections. "Maybe since Halloween is coming up why don't we watch a horror movie?" Shuichi asked and we all agreed

"yea I don't mind" I spoke up

" Hell ya!" Sedona said excitedly

"Sure it is perfect for the holiday" kokichi said.
And me being the chicken I wasn't a fan of horror movies and kokichi took notice of that. "Hey y/n is you have to you can just hold onto me if your scared I don't mind" he spoke up and I just shook my head 'no'

"N-no it's okay!"  I stutters trying to seem like I'm not afraid of horror movies

But it failed of course kokichi notices my little lie I told so it didn't really matter since he could tell when people lie but I just continued to try and convince him that I'm not scared of horror movies.

Sighs this will be a long break from work which I'm glad because I can hang out with my friends.

A/n: hello! I hope you liked this chapter I apologize if this isn't really long as I've said I promised but there will be more  longer chapters in the future when I get more into writing! Tho I know like I've said I'm not a big writer like others are on this platform I still enjoy writing!
