It feels like forever since Dwayne walked out of your life. You barely even remember what it felt like hearing his voice echo around the space. It's almost like you finally have no connection to that man that broke you down to dust. His name was just another in your contacts, and you were fine with that. You finally had him out of your head, or that's what you told everyone. You hoped you believe those words as they left your lips but you knew they were lies, so did everyone around you but they played along as they knew you needed that support. You'd always make an excuse not to pass the block, you'd either need something from somewhere or you were too busy so they should choose someone else for the job. You couldn't bare the thought of Dwayne looking through you as if you didn't exist. You knew you weren't ready for the heartbreak, even though you'd been broken by him before.

"You coming this time or you fucking me over again..." Randy rolled his eyes playfully as he slid into his car. He only had his eyes on show but you knew he had his signature cheeky grin hiding beneath his mask. You felt the urge to go, it had been so long since you had spent time with the boys and Randy was always going to cause some chaos for you to enjoy. "Are you really making me beg?"

"Fine. But can we just stay away from Mandem Block?" You shrug as you sat in the passenger seat. "I don't think I could face that today..." You felt yourself slide down the seat in embarrassment. You hated feeling so weak and you didn't want him to stop doing what he wanted.

"Let's just go for a drive and see where we end up." Randy's voice now calming the anxiety you had let build. "You've got to show him what he's missing at some point though."

"No!" You exclaimed, you didn't want anyone else. You only wanted him, and you hated that. Why would you want someone that ripped you apart? "I don't want to think about him Randy, please. Can we just, I don't know, go do something stupid?"

"Well why didn't you just say so?" Randy chuckled behind his mask as he sped through the streets of Los Santos. You gazed out the window and watched the world pass by at speed, listening to Randy rapping to himself and trying his best to make you smile.

You told him you didn't want to think about him but you couldn't get him out of your head. Dwayne Flores - who would have thought that this man would have such a hold on you? Memories kept flooding your mind, the good and the bad. You remember the times on the block telling stories of home, how you danced to his music that he constantly teased and how you'd rob stores together although you both seemed to end up in prison but at least you were together. That's just some of the good, but it was the bad that kept creeping in between that was hurting you right now. The arguing, the rumours, the bad attitude that came when he didn't get his own way. He was slowly become a person that he hated but he was too blind to see it. He pushed you away until he pushed you off the edge, and when you fell... it all fell.

"Randy, where the fuck are you taking me?" You questioned as you pulled yourself out of a trance. The car had finally come to a stop in a car park at the back of a bar you'd never been to.

"Didn't you hear about the event tonight? I thought you'd want to come, we can sneak out whenever you want to." Randy glanced at you. He could see you were beginning to feel uneasy. "All the boys are here, you can find them to talk to if you want. That way you can see people and avoid him... it's a win win. Plus, a free bar!" He laughed as he jumped out the car and ran around to open your door.

"Is he..." you muttered before you were being pulled out the car by the lovable red head that was April.

"Get yo' ass inside and dance with me!" She squeaked as she pulled you into a hug. You couldn't help but smile as she embraced you, her warmth was second to nothing.

"Thank you, seriously!" You smile weakly at the pair as you're being pushed through the door. The music blaring, drinks flowing and everyone was having a great time. You spotted the boys in the corner, who waved over at you willing you to join them. You shake your head politely as you approached the bar. You grab a drink and turn to the stage where Liz Anya was performing. You felt all the anxiety spill from your body. The more you drank, the happier you felt.

Time passed by as you spoke to Randy and April, enjoying the atmosphere and not paying attention to who was on the stage. The music was good and felt familiar but you couldn't tell why. That was until it stopped, the room feel quiet and a voice spoke over the microphone, "it's been great to see everyone out 'ere just vibing and enjoying themselves. I've just got a few more songs to play but I do just wanna dedicate this song to a few people. Firstly my boy T, always has my back, my fucking day one, OG! Fuck it, the rest of my boys, you fuckers keep me going. And finally, you know who you are, I don't know if you're here... but if you are... I'm sorry..."

As soon as his voice came through the speaker, you felt a tear roll down your cheek. Your stomach was flipping and you felt every part of your body go cold. Why did he have to appear when you were trying to block it out, when you didn't want to think about him?
