Pretty Lies

Four

I fell asleep and woke up the next day. I didn't really want to do anything, but my friend had told me to go to the mall with her at 2. I didn't want to pass that up. It would've been the first time I've seen her since I've moved and I was super excited. I lazily got up and went over to my closet. I picked out a pink short sleeved shirt and some white shorts. I laid them on my bed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, straightened my hair, and put on eyeliner and mascara. I walked out and changed into my clothes. I checked the time and it was almost 2:30. I ran downstairs and told my mom to drive me to the mall. We got there around 2:45 and I called my friend.
"Hey where are you?"
"I left. You took to long and I thought you weren't coming."
"Now what am I supposed to do? Can you come back?"
"No my dad won't let me."
"Ugh great."
"Sorry."
"Whatever."
I hung up the phone.

I was walking around for a little while and I saw a girl from school and walked up to her.
"Hey can I use your phone so I can call my mom?"
"Yeah sure!"
"Sorry for just running up and asking. I recognized you from school."
"On no it's okay! I'm Erica"
"I'm Natalie!"

"Hey mom Logan left because I took to long. Can you come back and get me?"
"NO you should of took your car. That's why you have it."
"Okay what ever."

"Hey Erica? Who are you here with?"
"My sister!"
"Would you mind if I hung out with you till you left?"
"No not at all!"
With that we ran around the mall laughing! It was the most fun I have had in a while!
"Hey Erica thanks for a great day!"
"Your welcome!!"
I saw my mom and ran to the car.
"Hey mom I'm hungry?"
"You can order pizza an invite a friend over because I have to go to work."
So when I got home I ran up to my room and called Erica.

"Erica??"
"Yeah? Who is this.?"
"It's Natalie I was wondering if you would like to stay the night?"
"I would love to!"
"I'll be there soon to get you!"

I went to pic Erica up. When I showed up at her house she seemed surprised I had a car. Erica got in and we drove away.
"Where would you like to go?"
"Anywhere sounds fine to me."
"We'll I can take you any where."
After she though for a while she turned to me.
"Let's go go Brads party!!!"
"I do not look good for a party.."
"Oh.. Shit."
"We'll maybe we can go to the mall and I'll buy us some clothes?"

It took awhile for Erica to agree with me buying her clothes, but after a while she was okay with it. We bought black high wasted shorts, pink crop tops, and beautiful sparkly sandles.
"Your total is 96.67."
I gave her 100$. Erica looked at me strange.
" yes?"
"You carry around five hundred dollars??"
"You never know how much you will need.."
With that we got in my car and headed to the party.
