(Geetanjali's look)
Geetanjali was sitting on the rocking chair in her bedroom. She was continuously flipping the pages of a book but her mind was occupied by Kartavya.
"Bhabi ma" Yuvraj screamed her name in excitement
Hearing the sudden commotion, Geetanjali got startled. She looked at the doorstep only to find Yuvraj standing there grinning widely.
"Kya baat hai bhabi ma......aaj aap toh bohot sundar lag rahi hai......Bhai sa ke liye itni tayyar hui hai?" Yuvraj teased her
Geetanjali didn't reply rather she turned her gaze back to her book.
"Bhabi ma.......ek zaruri baat kehni thi aapse"
"Hmm tell"
"Aap jo yeh book padh rahi hai na woh Marathi mein likha hai"
"Achaa?" Geetanjali said and again went through the pages of the book but found the language to be in Hindi
"Kahan yeh toh Hindi mein hai" Geetanjali retorted back
"Wahi toh bhabi ma.....jab meine kaha ki Marathi mein hai toh apko dubara check karna pada which shows ki aap sirf book pakdi hui hai padh nhi rahi hai" Yuvraj wriggled his eyes
Geetanjali closed the book and glared at Yuvraj. After seconds both burst out laughing.
"Aye Haye bhabi ma kya hasi hai apki, apko sunn ke toh koel bhi jealous ho jaye" Yuvraj knowingly complimented in such a way which will lift Geetanjali's mood.
"Haan haan bilkul" Geetanjali said controlling her laughter.
"Arey sachi ....... Aab dekhiye na aapki aankhein kitni chamak rahi hai ki dia (earthen lamp) ke roshni ko bhi mat dede" Yuvraj said making Geetanjali laugh out loud
"Kasam se bhabi ma aap ki......." Yuvraj was about to say something when Geetanjali cut his sentence "baas baas aaj ke liye kafi hai.......aur my brother-in- law please don't ever try to compliment Siya in this manner warna bhag jayegi woh"
"I dare not bhabi ma......woh bhagegi ki nhi yeh toh nhi malum par mujhe zarur bhaga bhaga ke maregi" Yuvraj said
Geetanjali pinched his nose.
"Haasti hui kitni achi lagti hai aap bhabi ma, ese gloomy mat raha kariye please" Yuvraj requested
"Hmm all thanks to you for lifting my mood" Geetanjali thanked
"Waise bhabi ma.....aaj se meri zarurat nhi padegi aapko hass ne ke liye.......Bhai sa jo aa rahe hai" Yuvraj said with a mischievous glint
"Kya?" Geetanjali asked in a very low voice
"Ji haan bhabi ma.....Bhai sa shaam tak ghar pahunch jayenge....now cheer up" Yuvraj said
Geetanjali kept looking at Yuvraj, confirming any mischief if present.
