Geetanjali woke up when she heard a soft song being played. She blinked her eyes to find Kartavya sitting in front of the piano and is completely immersed in playing the tune.

Geetanjali went near him. She hugged his neck from behind. Resting her chin on his shoulder, she kissed the place just below his ears.

Kartavya gave a faint smile. He brought her palm near his lips and kissed her palm. Clutching her palm near his chest he spoke, "Geetu remember on our wedding night, I asked you if you will be with me leaving all the luxuries behind. And your answer was yes. Is it same today as well?"

"It is" Geetanjali didn't even take two seconds to reply

Kartavya caressed her fingers and said "the time for our departure has come. Pack our bags , I have a little paper work to do and then we will leave"

Geetanjali like an obedient wife, didn't even question his decision. She simply nodded her head and left to do the needful.

Kartavya looked at the departing figure of Geetanjali and thought, true to her words she trust him. She has deep faiths in him that she didn't even raise the basics questions like why or where are we going?

He left to his study for the paper works.

INSIDE MRITYUNJAY'S ROOM

Ahalya was pacing in the room in tension when she heard a knock.

"Get in" she allowed

Kartavya entered inside the room with a smile.

"Good morning, Kaki ma" he wished

"Good morning Kartavya beta"

Kartavya made Ahalya sit on the bed and he laid his head on her lap.

"Kartavya, beta mujhe galat mat samajhna........meine jo kuch bhi kiya......"

"Kaki ma.....I know, mujhe pata hai. I am not angry at you, just a little upset baas itu sa (he showed his hand gesture)........."

"Arey Kartavya, aaj toh Sunday hai phir tayyar kyu hua hai? Kahin jaa raha hai kya?" Mrityunjay asked, coming out of the closet.

"Kaku sa, kaki ma......mein aur Geetanjali jaa rahe hain. Thodi der mein nikalenge mere Jaisalmer ke liye" Kartavya said

"Acha hai ...... jao tum dono thoda ghum aao. Waise bhi shaadi ke baad kahin gaya nhi tu usko lekar.......waise kitne dino ke liye jaa raha hai?" Mrityunjay asked

"Kaku sa, hum dono Jaisalmer mein permanently shift hone wale hain" Kartavya said

"What?" Mrityunjay screeched being shocked by the decision

Ahalya too was stunned to react. She slowly whispered "par kyu?"

Kartavya smiled and said "kyu ki mein aapko guilty nhi dekh sakta. Mujhe pata hai chotey aur kaku sa apke decision se khush nhi hain. Yuvi mujhe roz dekhega toh usse lagega ki uske wajah se yeh sab ho raha hai jo ki usse lagna shuru ho chuka hai. Aur mein nhi chahta ki apke aur kaku sa ke beech koi anban ho mujhe lekar. I don't want you to feel guilty and spoil your health with unnecessary stress. It's better agar hum chale jayein"

"Kal Geetanjali ne toh kuch bataya nhi" Mrityunjay said

"Usse kuch malum nhi kaku sa. Meine usse bags pack karne ko subah kaha aur uss ne ek sawal tak nhi kiya mujhse.......usse kuch nhi pata, complete decision is mine" Kartavya answered

"Kartavya see let's do this. I will step down from my position of board of directors. And you take over my position" Mrityunjay suggested

"Kaku sa...... do you doubt on my capabilities?......I will manage trust me. You should be there to guide Yuvraj. It's more tough for him than me. Moreover mujhe ek hi company mein dekhega toh he will be uncomfortable, mein kya koi aur uski jagah hota toh bhi yehi feel karta"
