Minamoto Kyu is a Private devil hunter. She is highly respected in the whole government sanctioned devil hunters organization because of her contract with the Nine-tailed devil fox. A devil ranking higher than the original Devil Fox.
Kyu is a short teenager, standing at 154cm, with medium-length pearly white hair. She's often seen wearing a loose, collared, white button-up shirt with her school's skirt as well as the black tie hanging on her shoulders or loosely tied.
Kyu appears to be a very laid back person. She may be blunt at times but she's able to quickly recover and analyze the situation she's in. When she's with other Devil Hunters, She goes quiet and moves to where less energy is required when walking in a group. Apparently, getting attached to her co-workers is the last thing she wants to do in this occupation of life and death. They could die the next day. Who knows. Though, she hates seeing her co-workers or anyone in general get hurt. On the other hand, She has a strong platonic relationship with Angel Devil. The two can be seen together most of the time in the manga and anime as she is seen tagging along with him, following Hayakawa Aki.
One of her life goals is to 'not be single' which was quoted by Angel Devil in a scene where the two of them were together, eating ice cream after seeing multiple couples passing by them. This leads to Angel Devil passing her the Kinyubi, a golden circlet worn on one's wrist. This artifact intertwines one's life with the first person she sees after putting it on. It's an ordeal of Love where if one makes the other fall in love with them, the curse unbinds their lives and she will be able to obtain an artifact that can make another attracted to the user. [In a sense of stealing someone's heart to give it to another].
But when under this curse, a magical bracelet that, by the force of love, will compel anybody wearing it to obey.
In Kyu's opinion, she doesn't care if they're a devil or a human. She has an open-mind and accepts everything. What goes, just goes. Although contracting with the nine-tailed kitsune, her personality is the complete opposite of a kitsune. Instead of sly, she's more seen as reserved and modest.

Relationships
Denji
At first, she felt uncomfortable with this man. She still is. But she understands the situation he is in and respects him in ranking of strength and personality. There was nothing much to not like about Denji to her.
Power
She enjoys listening to Power talk. It supplies the energy she lacks. She doesn't mind her vulgar attitude nor think of her as obnoxious, like Hayakawa Aki. She considers her one of her friends she can sit with and listen to her talk for hours.
Aki
In the beggining, she never spoke much to Aki. She found him quite awkward to converse with. His personality was different from what she was used to, with Power.
Makima
Makima is one of the people that Kyu absolutely would stay away from. After discovering her cunning ideals and manipulative behavior, Kyu started to stay away from parties. The thought of sitting down with Makima makes her stomach churn and hands shake.
Angel Devil
As quoted, Angel Devil and Kyu have a strong platonic relationship. She would usually be seen loitering around with Angel Devil after her schooling hours, enjoying the peaceful aura and energy coming from him after a tiring day of school.

Antemortem Abilities
Physical prowess: Kyu has reflexes beyond the ability of a regular person. Being able to keep up and even assist Hayakawa Aki against a few people. Though, her durability is quite low, having a weaker body compared to her co-workers.
Weapon: Kyu prefers to use traditional japanese metal war fans over long swords. After learning how to use them for two years, she can be considered one of the professionals in her country.

「天神」
tenjin
[celestial shrine] - transfers enemy into a shrine with the kyubi no kitsune akuma. If the enemy has dealt a good amount of damage to the fox, they will be transported out of the shrine and back into reality. This skill can also be understood as 'imprisonment until death'.
「変化の神」
henshin no kami
[shapeshifting god] - user will be able to change their appearance and voice. This skill is similar to the skin devil but the user does not have to kill its victim to use this skill.
「九天の骨董」
kyu ten no kotto
[nine heavenly artifacts] - user will be able to summon magical artifacts which were imprisoned in their nine tails. [Kyu likes to hide her tails as she stands out in public and they get in the way in combat]. To retrieve an artifact, the user will have to cut off one of their tails which will result in excruciating pain.
