Kath bowed her head and started playing with her fingers.
DJ noticed her expression so he grabbed her hand and held it tight.
Kath looked up at DJ who had a serious face as he stared at the handlers.
“Bakit po ba kailangan natin pag-usapan to? I thought may teleserye pa kami after this movie.” DJ said.
“Oo.. yun ang plano. Yun rin ang alam namin. Mukhang wala naman nagbago. Pero, ewan ko nga rin eh. Maraming rumors na pinag-iisipan daw ito ng management. Kaya gusto namin marinig ang comment ninyo at para na rin hindi kayo mabigla kung saka-sakali na mangyari nga to.”
The handlers looked at Kath who was still silent.
“So, ano po ba ang dapat namin gawin para maparating sa kanila na ayaw pa naming mangyari yan?” DJ spoke up again.
Finally, Kath glanced up and looked at her handler straight in the eye.
“Ok lang po.” she said, managing a small smile.
DJ stared at her. Kath looked at DJ. “Ano ba yang tinatanong mo? Trabaho natin to. Kahit ano ipagawa nila sa atin, syempre dapat natin sundin.”
“Pero kasi tinatanong nila ang opinion natin, Kath.” DJ argued.

“Ano ba ang gusto natin, Kath? Yun ang tinatanong nila.... Ano ba ang gusto mo?”
“Wala akong pakialam... kasi nga trabaho to.”

“At tsaka wala rin naman ako choice, diba?” Kath said looking at her handler.
The handlers looked at each other.
“Kaya, in the first place, asking our opinion was unnecessary.” Kath said calmly.
DJ stared at Kath in frustration.
“Kanino po ba mapa-pair si DJ?” Kath asked again in a calm tone.
“Bakit mo ba tinatanong yan?! Eh ako nga, hindi ako interesado malaman.” DJ said, annoyed at how calmly she has accepted the news.
Kath ignored him and gave her handler a questioning look.
Her handler shifted uncomfortably.
“Actually, wala pang official news, pero sabi nila ... baka si Ella Cruz daw.”
Kath smiled. “She’s a really good actress! I like her for you...” she said to DJ.

“Plus, she’s very bubbly and playful! I’m sure mage-enjoy ka sa company niya.” Kath assured him.
DJ gave her a weird look.
Kath glanced again at her handler. “I’m sure hindi pa nila alam kung sino ang next pair ko, right?” she asked.
“Ahm, hindi pa Kath. Mukhang ang bagong partner ni DJ pa lang ang pinag-uusapan nila.”
Kath glanced at DJ. “I’m so proud of you and happy for you.” she said.
“Ano ba yang pinagsasabi mo?” DJ asked in irritation.
“Can’t you see, DJ? By pairing you with another famous actress, they have seen your potential! I hate the fact that other people label you as someone who is riding my popularity just because I was an actress way before you entered showbusiness.... kasi I can see you’re so much better than that.”
