Sky was a positive teen, always making sure that people would take care of themselves and others. Hence why she took classes for nursing.

Working in the hospital was bringing her joy, though she was all the happier to have finished her day and finally be able to go to sleep after a long day of school and mentally straining social interactions with patients and friends.

So when she plopped on her bed on that friday evening she wasn't even surprised at her tiredness. Well, skipping dinner for once wouldn't hurt her. And her parents might wake her up later.

She would relax for the day.

Sky groaned as she felt herself wake up. She always woke up in the morning, no matter what day it was. Well, at least she went to bed early, so she slept plenty.

The 17-year-old grabbed her phone from her nightstand. She blinked a few times before she could finally decipher the time dusplayed on the screen.

"6:47", she mumbled, not amused at all. It was just too early. But Sky knew that she wouldn't be able to fall back asleep so she decided to go to the kitchen and make herself some breakfast.

It was nothing but a normal routine for her. Wake up early, get something to eat and watch some videos or TV in the morning.

Sky sighed as she opened some apps on her phone. She wasn't tired, neither was she full of energy.

After a short while she felt very uncomfortable at the table, so went to lay on the couch instead. And she was more than glad that she did, her posture relaxing into the soft cushions.

She clicked on some random video of one of her favorite content creators, and watched them struggle doing whatever it was that they were doing.

Was it some kind of–—dance? A fighting technique? What was–—that?

But, somehow she couldn't help but laugh. And smile. The supposed expert in this sport— apparently it was a sport— corrected the content creator—and his friends who joined in— in almost every move they did. Damn. How miserable.

But these people made it seem so fun and hilarious, that Sky really couldn't help but smile—not burst out laughing, that would wake more people than necessary.

And so, the time passed by, watching fun videos and some hilarious moments. There were a few really really—what was it called again? weird? concerning? unrealistic? comments on some recent videos. About monsters and magic and the world ending.

Such… weird people.

But they do them and you do you.

It was 7:30 the next time Sky checked the time. Her parents came to the living room, greeting their child and getting something to eat.

Sky felt pretty energetic that moment, (ignoring the rising feeling of whatever it was that was rising, but it wasn't good)— or was it motivated? So she offered her help with breakfast, "I'll help", and stood up from her place.

But the moment she did, the world started spinning and she was gripping onto the couch's armrest because oh gosh that is no good and the nausea hits fast and Sky collapses back on the couch. She took a few deep breaths. Maybe she stood up too fast. Yeah, probably.

So she sat there and breathed, nothing else.

"Are you alright, Sky?", her mother asks, but her daughter was too out of it, her ears ringing loudly and her head spinning and spinning and spinning and it's not ending.

"Sky?", her mother asked again, but to no avail. She saw Sky breathing fastly on the couch— hyperventilating even!— and gripping onto the armrest like her life depended on it and–

"H-Hey!", Sky's mother ran to her, checking her head and temperature as if there was nothing else she could do and her forehead was on fire and—

Sky's mother calmed down after a few shaky breaths, "Sky, sweety, respond to me." There was no response.

After all, Sky felt like she was fighting something she couldn't see. She could feel something gripping her, but it wasn't enough. It wasn't helpful.

She feels something cold in her hand that is able to ground her and she chugs the water down before even grasping what it was that she held. It calms her. It helped her.

Sky looks up and sees her parents in front, but she can't hear anything but the little e's in her ears, ringing louder and louder by the second.

The headache came and hit her fastly and effectively, the nausea returned and she felt like throwing up, because this was simply too much.

Her mother quickly called an ambulance while the other, her father, got some cold water and lots of, well, he didn't know. He just grabbed some pain killers and some other cold stuff, like a wet towel (which he put under cold water in its dry state and was not using a dirty one,) and anything else he could find.

And what felt like hours passed by—for both Sky and her family— and they passed so slowly were actually only about a quarter hour. Sky couldn't focus on anything but not give in to whatever it was that had gotten her so sick during that time, while her parents tried to get Sky to respond with anything, but to no avail.

Suddenly the ambulance arrived and Sky's parents were more than happy that someone came. Who cared about the costs. Their daughter's condition seemed worse than ever.

Sky felt the light and environment around her shift and found herself in a brightly lit room.

It was too bright.

Before she could dwell on it any further, she passed out like a candle light getting blown out by the wind. One moment it's there, the next it's not.

And that didn't apply to her consciousness only.

A/N:

Here it is. Sky's first chapter of this story.

I can understand if you are confused about who Sky is or why this story is written from 2 POVs.

Sky is a friend of mine that decided to join the collab just like me. Their Wattpad User is: Vivy203. Please send them lots of love!

Thanks for SpiritWolfNura for informing us about this collab. Without them this would've never happened.

Onto why this story has 2 POVs. It's mainly because the OCs are from the same UT universe, which you'll know about in the next few chapters. I don't wanna spoil everything or anything just yet :]

I'll also write two POVs, because the both of us decided to do it like this. I am the writer and Sky is the one to read them over. My editor per say :>

Anyways, I hope ya people enjoyed.
