Running Through Hogwarts (Harry Potter X The Maze Runner)

Eleven

Thomas did not want to get out of bed the next morning. He was used to getting up early- Runners had to leave as soon as the Doors opened, but he was exhausted.
He had fallen into a deep sleep very quickly the night before, barely talking to Harry or his roommates as he nodded off.

"Come on, Thomas! Get up", Minho told him nonchalantly, shaking him. Thomas groaned. He thought about ignoring his friend completely, but ditched the idea when he heard both Ron and Harry getting ready as well. He got up.

Ron and Harry were nearly fully dressed, but Minho was standing there awkwardly. The two Gladers were still in their clothes from yesterday.
"You need to get dressed into your uniform", Ron told them, eyeing them both in turn. Thomas looked down, suddenly self-consious. "But, we don't have the uniform?".

Harry sighed. He wasn't annoyed, but Thomas knew that he wasn't expecting thrilled to be sharing his room with the two new boys, either.

Harry took off his tie from around his neck. He grasped it tightly on his hands, the fabric scrunching. Harry closed his eyes, focusing. "That which is one now becomes two. That which is two forever will be", he said, slowly. His eyes were still shut, not aware that the rest of the room was now staring at him intently.

For a second, nothing happened. But just as he was about to laugh, Thomas saw what was happening.

In front of his very eyes, a new tie appeared. Harry opened his eyes again, and tossed the tie to Minho, who caught it clumsily, not expecting it. He looked as shocked as Thomas felt. Harry was clearly very pleased with himself. Ron clearly very wasn't.

The red-head rolled his eyes, pulling his junker over his head. "That's Harry Potter for you". Thomas didn't know what the brunette's name had to do with it, but one thing's for sure- magic was definitely, scarily, real.

Harry grinned, closing his eyes to try again.
