Since I've been here I've pretty much stayed to myself. I tried socializing and meeting new people even dating, but I haven't been able to really connect with anyone the closest I've came is with shalom he's pretty nice but I'm a bit nervous to open myself up to anyone.

"Aziya!" I hear someone yelling at me, but I don't know where it's coming from. "AZIYA!!" Shit, it's ringing in my head so loud I don't know where it's coming from. I jolt awake as my alarm goes of wailing in my ear from underneath my pillow. Ugh! I hate waking up early it's just barely 11:30 but that's early even for me I hate mornings I'm not a bird and screw getting "the worm" throwing one foot in front of the other I make my way downstairs to make breakfast for myself Realizing that I'm starving.

I make myself a bowl of microwavable oatmeal and eat a banana. I turn on the tv hoping for something interesting but it's the same crap, news, celebrities and politics there's never really anything interesting on especially this early. Well at least that's how I feel. I force myself off my ass and from in front of the tv trying to will myself to get ready for work but to no avail. I basically have to drag myself to the shower to get dressed but I do it, nonetheless. My commute to work is only about a fifteen-minute walk so I save a lot of gas every day and I manage to burn some calories. I've been working at the library for six months now which it doesn't even feel like that long.

"Hello Lily" Mrs. Ellery says as I walk through the doors. She's been working here for nearly 50 years and knows this library like the back of her hand, if I didn't see her close up and leave every night I'd swear she lives here since she's working so much and has barely missed a day since I started. "Hi, how're you feeling today Mrs. Ellery?" I said while trying to get the crust out of my eyes and head to the coffee station behind the front desk. "Same as always sweetie". She smiled as she looked back down at the folder she was reading.

"What is that?" I said curiously looking in as she closed the folder. "Oh it's nothing just the check out papers I've been needing to file, we have a gentleman coming in this evening to to buy a rare book we've just got in. Apparently the GM of the library agreed to let him buy the book and from what I hear he paid a pretty penny!" She said leaning into a whisper Mrs. Ellery loved to gossip, I suppose it was the highlights of her life. At her age there can't be much happening. I laughed at her words before grabbing my notebook and heading to the back to start going through the shelves, re-alphabetizing the books that had been rummaged through over the weekend.

My shift seemed to have dragged on forever today and I finally made it to my lunch break at 3:00pm. I don't eat much so mostly on my breaks I steal a book from one of the shelves and erase the world for an hour. "Yes Mr.Celian we still have it here waiting for you, alright see you soon, uhun thank you bye". As I'm coming in i hear Mrs. Ellery hanging up the phone. "He'll be here in three minutes!" She says with a glint of excitement in her eyes. "You seem excited to sell this book huh?" I say looking at her with curiosity. "Oh it's not just the book, we're selling the book to none other than Oliver Celian!" I pause waiting for the part where I'm supposed to know who that is I laughed at her with a questioned expression on my face "oh my word! Don't tell me you don't know who that is child?" She said with a surprised tone. "I'm sorry I don't" I said with a shrug. "Well" she says leaning over as to not let anyone else hear "he's said to be the most eligible bachelor in the states, with deep pockets" she winked at me with a small chuckle "well then I guess if you play your cards right you can take him off the market". I say while playfully elbowing her in the arm. I grab my notebook and pick up where I left off rearranging the books in the back when I hear the front door bell chime. I peak through the shelves were I had taken some books down to reorder when I see a tall dark man walk through the door toward Mrs. Ellery.

His physique was that out of a magazine but he was huge he looked to be every bit of 6'7 towering over Mrs. Ellery even though she was a small older woman he made her look even smaller. I moved a row up so I could get a better look at him. He was as handsome as they come he had long brown hair that was slicked back into a pony tail and was dressed in a cashmere grey suit with a navy blue tie he looked like someone that worked in the office by day but lived at the gym by night. He looked very sophisticated but just underneath his collar I could see what looked like tattoos. He smiled at Mrs. Ellery as they made small talk, I couldn't fully see her face but just from his smile and her head movement I could tell she might've been fan girling over him which made me chuckle to myself. She stepped away from the desk I'm guessing to go get the book. I moved two more rows forward to try and see if I could hear his voice when she came back when something stopped me in my tracks. I started to feel a warmth creep up my spin like I was easing myself into the warmest bath, I looked up to see this man that had once been smiling and seemingly had an amiable demeanor was now stoned face slowly scanning the library I tried to get a better look at him wondering what might have alarmed him and it almost seemed as if I could see him smelling the air but I brushed it off as me being exhausted from being on my feet for a few hours he started around the desk before Mrs. Ellery reappeared with the book and a piece of paper lying flat on top of it. He turned towards her and began smiling again snapping out of whatever had him in a trance just a second ago. I wanted to get closer but there was only the book shelf that kept me hidden I snuck to the other end hoping that I'd be able to get a little closer to hear him but his voice was so soft I barely heard a whisper as I leaned in I managed to drop the books I was holding making a loud thud in the quiet library which clearly caught his attention I was still hidden but he was looking in my direction and I could just barely see his eyes as I crouched down to retrieve the books I dropped.
