Y/n was sick and tired of missing the bus and having to walk to school, so she was determined to catch the bus.
She hasn't had any nightmares for a while
Which she was grateful for, but got her wondering,
Are these nightmares meant to mean something? Possibly warning me of something or someone...?
But she let go of the thought for now.
Y/n made a mental list of the things she needs to do to be on time.
The first step, waking up early which she did but, resulted in causing her to be not in the "happiest" mood. (Since she isn't used to waking up so early.)
Before getting ready for school, Y/n receives a message from her online friend Childe.
Due to her being so tired she decided to simply look at the notification preview.

Y/n wanted to ask many questions like:
What, when, where, when etc....

But she knew she couldn't afford to have her attention on her phone.
Which is the second step, focusing.
She decided to reply to him when she had time.
Y/n got dressed, ate breakfast and packed her bag.
Just as her alarm went off.
The third step (the last step), timing
Perfect
She headed to the door and touched the doorknob
Ding
She let go and flinched at the noise.
A package...?
When she opened the door, a middle-aged woman stood with a smile.
What the-
"Hi, I'm Laura!" the lady said cheerfully
This better not be some advertisement
"Um.. hi"
"Uh... I'm sure you've been informed..."
Informed what?! I'm going to miss the bus because of you, lady!
Y/n cocked her head
"Judging on the look on your face, I'm assuming... no? Or maybe you forgot"
Get to the point
"I am your caretaker!" She said with a bigger smile
"Ohh" Y/n replied
yeah, I forgot, mom told me about this...
Laura started making small talk.
Y/n simply replied with nods
Please, please, don't make me miss the bus
The lady continued talking and talking...
A bus drove by and Y/n knew that was her bus. Without a second thought, she pushed the lady to the side and ran.
The lady was simply in shock.
Y/n luckily made it on the bus, she found her seat, put on her headphone/earphones, played her f/song / f/playlist and,
Fell asleep.
She woke up to a tall guy sitting beside her. Although he wasn't looking at her, she still felt slightly embarrassed.
She looked out the window, and in the reflection, she saw the guy's head turn towards her with a grin.
"Hey, you're awake!" He said cheerfully
His voice reminded her of someone, yet, she couldn't put her finger on it.
She had no choice but to speak
"hi..."
