Your POV

Currently sitting in my trailer, the sound of plastic clicking as I snap the latest Lego set together. It was late, I imagined that everyone else asleep. At least that was what I thought until I heard a small knock on the trailer door.

Getting up from the small table I make a small humming noise as I walk over. Unlocking and opening it as I see who's outside

"Mr. Rickman. Everything all right?"

"How many times do I have to tell you, it's Alan?"

Shaking my head shortly I let him into the trailer, his hands in his robe pockets.

"You can tell me that all you'd like, you'll forever be Mr. Rickman"

He sighs gently before looking around the trailer. His eyes arrive at the table and he smiles softly.

"Another set? That explains why you're up at this hour."

Nodding I look at the work in progress on the other side of him. My co star looks back at me after a moment.

"Can I ask why you're awake?"

He gives a nod as he sits down at the table doing his best not to disturb the pieces.

"I had tried to lay down but all I could see was the light from your trailer."

"Are the shades not helping? I'll request darker ones tomorrow."

He smiles as he shakes his head. "Don't bother it doesn't give me trouble. I was more worried than upset"

Looking at him he smiles gently at me as he sits there. Being coworkers for so long you end up getting close to the other person. I've told him of the things I lay awake at night from everything of my past.

"Mr. Rickman, I'm okay you don't need to worry so much"

He nods gently as he sighs.

"I know, it just happens more than I'd like it to"

Walking over to him I put a hand on his shoulder, his own coming to rest on mine. He holds it in his gently before kissing it.

"You're welcome to stay in the trailer if you'd like, you can have the bed. You're probably too tall for the couch."

We both glance at the small couch that was next to the door. He shakes his head before looking at me.

"I'm sure I can manage"

"Take the bed, Mr. Rickman"

Looking up at me his eyes on mine as he tries to get me to stand down, he fails.

"Hopefully my shampoo won't bother you much."

He stands, towering over me slightly.

"We could both share the bed"

His voice is just barely above a whisper as he looks at me. Sighing after a moment I nod. Relocking the door before turning the lights off we make our way to the small room.

Once in bed the lights came off and we settled into the sheets. It didn't take long before he had pulled me closer to him. I was tense at first but as soon as I heard his snores in my ear I was able to relax. Sleep coming over me quickly as I smile to myself.

For the first time I could remember the thoughts of my past were gone. I was able to sleep soundly after years of restlessness. All because of the man that was behind me, the one that went out of his way to make sure I was all right as much as he could. Alan Rickman.
