We all know about that epic last scene in Episode 100, the last episode of Aikatsu Stars, where we saw Laura and Yume, both who had grown in their own way, compete against each other in the World Aikatsu Cup. Yume, now in her last month as a student at Four Star Academy, was more than excited for this chance to show Laura how much she had grown! The same goes for Laura! After all, they were best friends and the best of rivals. Both of them performed Stardom, a song filled with many memories and enjoyed it to the fullest, while also not holding back anything. It was almost time for the result, and someone, on the back stage was just as excited to know the results as the girls were.
Laura's POV
"And the winner of this performance is...... Nijino Yume!! Congratulations to her on winning this round! Let me tell you folks! It was a very close call! Nothing less expected from you guys!", the anchor said.
I lost.. Again..That too, at my home ground Well, I gave my all. I am not sad about losing. After all , I gave it my best shot!
"Hey, Yume! Congrats!", I said, genuinely feeling happy, and proud, of my Best friend. It's been three years huh...
"Arigato! To be honest I was so stressed that I might lose, so I pushed myself to the limit! I didn't expect to win because your Aikatsu was just fantastic", Yume said, while both of us headed backstage after waving to our fans.
She can really make anyone smile. We were making plans to catch up with each other and would have talked a bit longer, hadn't it been for someone who suddenly showed up in Yume's Dressing Room.
"Congratulations, Nijino. Your performance was really great. Same goes for you Laura-San. Both of you were equally amazing", said that 'certain' someone.
"Subaru-kun! I am so glad you came", Yume said while holding his hands and smiling widely.
I have two things to say-
1. Since when did they become so close and
2. Did I just see a blush on Subaru's face? Well, that confirms my theory!
"Thank you Subaru-san. Also, it's rare to see both of you well, not fighting. Did I miss something?", I said with an eyebrow up. Yume, like, I had expected, didn't take a hint but Subaru did.
"After you left, I decided to focus on my Aikatsu a lot more, like you. Subaru helped me a lot with my training, whenever he came back to Japan. We used to talk to each other about our days whenever both of us had time. So, we got to know each other better. And seeing him work hard, made me work even harder!!", Yume said, flames roaring in her eyes.
"Don't work too hard alright! I guess I will leave you guys to talk to each other. But Yume, remember about tomorrow", I said, while having a full interrogation session set in my mind.
"Yes! I won't! Bye!" Yume said, just as cheerful as always.
I waved goodbye to both of them , and just as I was about to turn around the corner I heard this from Subaru- So, would you like to explore the city with me? It's your first time here and we might get to talk about some things.
