THIRD-PERSON POV
Luz's mom went inside their home after talking with Luz, Y/n had rushed outside once they got thr text from Luz. They just saw her mom go in once they got there.
"Hey Luz!" They spoke, they came to a halt when they were close enough to her.
"Oh, hey Y/n! Better get your goodbyes out soon, the bus should be here any moment..." Luz sighed, she didn't want to go to this stupid summer camp but she has no choice in the matter.
"It's ok, we can talk over texts couldn't we? Also I promise those months will fly by and we can spend the rest of the summer together!"
"Promise?"
"Promise." Luz walked over to the trash can near her house and noticed something was gone.
"My book! It's gone!"
"What do you mean 'it's gone'?" Luz looked around and saw a bird, an owl to be specific. It had her book in a big bag. She ran towards the owl as it hopped away into the forest. Y/n followed. "Luz slow down!" They both entered the abandoned house the owl had hopped into. Y/n had entered a little later than Luz so once they caught up they caught up breath. "Luz you run alot." They look through the curtain thingy Luz was looking through, an older woman was talking and taking stuff out of the big bag. She got to Luz's Azura book.
"And this...can be used for kindling." The woman started to burn the book with a candle. Luz freaked out and without thinking sped out of the tent they were in.
"This is mine thank you." She grabbed the book and made a run for it to the door, Y/n followed, but the door they both came out of closed and the woman came back there looking mad.
"Your not going anywhere." The two yelled in fear and ran out of the tent to see a monstrous world.
"Where are we?" Luz said.
"I don't know. But we're not in Kansas anymore."
"This is not the time for references
Y/n!" Luz saw a fairy next to her, she sighed.
"Hello magical fairy! Are you here to tell me this is all a wonderful dream?"
"GIVE ME YOUR SKIN!" The fairy responded. Luz swatted at it, then the white hair lady came up behide them and dragged them back to her tent.
"We're sorry!"
"Yeah! All I wanted was my book! If your going to eat our skin just make it quick!" Luz held her arm out and closed we eye.
"Eat you? Why would I eat a potential customer?" Luz calmed down, Y/n just stared in a confused manner. "Can I offer you a human foot filled with holes? A bar of green human candy? Oh, oh how about this black shadow box that reflects only sadness?" Both Luz and Y/n laughs.
"That's not what that is!" Y/n laughed out.
"Here let me see it." Luz said. She grabbed two batteries and pushed a button on the TV and it turned on. Y/n had calmed down their laughter. A crowd soon grew around them, the crowd offered monet monet the TV.
"What did you say your names were?"
"Luz, Luz noceda! And this is Y/n!"
"Well Luz, that was pretty clever for a human." The two looked at her with confusion.
"That's a weird thing to say to another human.." Luz said. Y/n stayed quiet.
"Oh, dear child, I'm not like you." She then pulls off her hood to reveal pointy ears. She goes to stand up on the table in front of her. "I'm Eda the owl lady! The most powerful witch on the boiling isles.
"A witch?" The two both said.
"I am respected and feared...-"
"Busted." A Guard interrupted Eda. Smashing the TV that had been playing. The crowd ran away yelling 'run it's a guard!' "Eda the owl lady, you are wanted for misuse of magic and demonic misdemeanors. You are hearby ordered to come with me to the conformatorium."
"Would you guys quit following me around? I haven't done squat."
"And you two coming too, for fraternizing with a criminal." The two get picked up by the guard and they freak out.
"All right, all right, you win. Just let me get my stuff." She then pulls out a staff and hits him in the head. He drops Luz but keeps a grip on Y/n as he falls. Eda packs up her things and drags Luz with her.
"We can't just leave them!" Luz shouts.
"We'll get them later come on, I'm not risking my life for 2 humans today!" She pulls out her staff again and rides away on it. The guard gets up and runs with Eda but she's already up in the air. He grunts but looks over to
Y/n as they try to escape his grasp.
"Well atleast I got one on them." He laughs, Y/n keep struggling out of fear.
